You can blame ETH for lots of things but you cannot blame him for
a) player making stupid basic errors
b) players not tracking back
c) players not making the right pass at the right time especially in forward areas
d) players not prepared to give their all for the team and fans
I honestly don't believe that ETH has failed to tell his players about these things. You can see by his reaction when goals are conceded how angry he is.
Its about time the players took collective responsibility and did their jobs and performed to the level we know they gave the potential to do.

I’m a ten hag in mate but you can blame him for picking casimiro who made the 2 mistakes after he’s been a shambles for 12 months he shouldn’t be starting
You can also blame him for starting rashford time and time again when he’s been poor for 18 months the. Takes of a garnacho for amad and leaves rashford on
His team selections and substitutes are poor
We have 3 away games in our next 4 we play Southampton palace and villa away and then spurs at home
I cannot see us winning any of those.
The team look exactly the same as last season, we can’t dominate possession because we can’t pass the ball 5 yards
Players like Bruno and casimiro just give the ball away consistently
We have a keeper who doesn’t make saves every shot a team has on target goes in
Every goal we concede is either a team running straight through the middle or a back post tap in
Ten hag will be gone by Christmas and it will be his own fault.

I accept you can’t blame him directly but culture comes from within and is part of team building.
The mistakes are not in his control, I’ll give you a) and c) but b) and d) come from solid coaching. If he cannot get that across and they continue to frustrate him he needs to kick some heads and stop rewarding mediocrity like Rashford.

My views were clear last season. However, the things you are saying are exactly the same as last season, what can only be classed as excuses. Woukd you have expected a good coach to have improved and cut out those errors after another preseason? We added new players who were selected yesterday, why the same shambles? Casemiro, why was he made pivotal in the midfield again? For the first goal both full backs pushed up and relied on the passing of Casemiro, is that his strength, why did we have a set up like that?
Then there is Rashford. This manager clearly has a favourite, to the extent his own fans, the Stretford End, booed him yesterday. He wanted McT to stay, we bought a Dutch trier in Zirkzee, who doesn’t look like a goal scoring CF. Oh for RVN, although even he would struggle with ETH teams tactics. This isn’t the Dutch league.
Basically he is accountable as Manager, that’s his job. You absolutely can blame him for the utter shambles again yesterday. Casemiro, Rashford and to be honest there is a growing concern about Onana.
They have thrown their hat in with ETH, but more of yesterday and it will not take long. That would or could give us the very nasty case of Southgate.

Nonsense. he is the Head coach. Of course its his fault. IETH is how he will be referred to from now on.
He is an idiot and a bad manager. Completing our of his depth. Just got to wait now, what a waste of a year this will be.

Can't argue with the posts above by Red Man, KEEFYT, Bolger and Salford. Something is not right. I very much blame the players but. Yes, ETH is under immense pressure and will eventually take the blame. My great fear is a rinse and repeat exercise and nothing changes. The dressing room stinks.

He played Casemeiro because he didn't want to throw an inexperienced Colyer into such a match who was his only other choice as Ugarte who hadn't bn registered in time. And Casemeiro can play long and short passes properly. He did in his first season.
The main problem is still mainly our midfield Slot said so in his post match interview. He told his team to press high and knew that they would overrun and bypass or run through our midfield. If players don't track back and work hard and have not done so under several diffferent managers then the players got to take the blame
He probably took off Garnacho as the player has had hardly any time off due to playing with Argentina. He prob stuck with Rashford hoping the fixture might spark something in him
He.

Do you know how much time Garnacho actually played in the Copa America?
That’s an excuse, a disgrace and the crowd knows it. Garnacho gives his all on the pitch and Rashford doesn’t. ETH cannot see any issue with Rashford and favourites him. It’s a disgrace and I haven’t seen that much favouritism or more exactly unwarranted favouritism for decades, if at all.

Casemiro is capable of the passes - you can see it was clearly going to its target. The problem is his judgement and the the decision to play the pass with Gravenberch clearly lurking between them.

The biggest issue yesterday was the managers inability to fix a middle field which was constantly getting overrun.
He should have sacrificed a forward, brought on another midfield player and played a counter attacking game, he didn't have a plan B and that in game management failure might see him gone by Christmas.

Won't improve until we start playing 3 in midfield. Bruno is not playing as a midfielder. In fact I'm not sure what he's doing. He plays best at the front of a midfield diamond and this is the system we need to play if he is in the team imho.

Fletch anybody that knows anything about football can see Bruno is one of our biggest problems as it stands.

Agree. Bruno is a problem and I have said that for some time, yet retained as Captain, undroppable and favourited but perhaps not as much as Rashford.

Trololo you mean the same greenwood who is an abuser and a rat of human?
He could score 50 goals and still wouldn’t be welcome at this club
We might be going through a rough time on the pitch but the day we have the likes of greenwood wearing our shirt is when all identity is lost.
