I never folliwed the greenwood saga but understand its pretty bad. Anyone know what happened and is he done as a footballer.

What waste of a talent, shame.

He should be finished, but being what football is, someone will take him on!

He will probably escape any punishment within a court of law, as charges for what he'll be prosecuted for are extremely difficult to prove.

However anyone who listened to the recordings should be of the mindset that he never kicks a ball for United again. Unfortunately he has immense talent and there will be suitors in parts of the world who generally do not care what he did.

And you know what mumbles, pound to a penny, if he was given a chance at united and in 10 games scored 10 winning goals most on here would forgive him and cheer his name… that’s what’s wrong with the world we live in today unfortunately!

I don't agree one iota Swisscheese. I don't know if you're one of the posters who keeps changing their name, but it was absolutely unanimous on her that he should never play again.

Any United fan I talked to in the real world was adamant he should never play for us again. There are a few things some players can come back from but sexual assault is certainly not one.

Have to agree with cheesy here football is so fickle, don’t really matter what people say now, that would change, always does seen it many times previously.

Which player that's been arrested for what Greenwood has done have you seen forgiven and been cheered by the fans Irisheyes?

{Ed014's Note - I’m looking forward to an example.

Paul McGrath has a long history of domestic abuse that was swept under the rug and he was considered a legend for both Villa and Ireland.

Ports Ed014

Whilst obviously not in the UK, one example is Bruno Fernandes De Souza - not the same Bruno.

Actually convicted of murder, served 6 years, resumed his career - wtf?

Over here, we have Luke McCormick - killed 2 kids. Convicted of causing death by dangerous driving, driving under the influence and driving with no insurance. Served less than 4 years and resumed his career - wtf?

So yeah, I think some fickle and, frankly, thick fans and immoral clubs would take Greenwood.

{Ed014's Note - that’s mad!
