You can tell people are getting impatient regarding new signings on here I've read plenty of comments in last 48 hours praising Jones and smalling ( yes the guy who couldn't pass 3 yards, couldn't use left foot and turned like a cruise ship ) ??‍♂️.

People have short memory Chris. The fact that Jones is still here and Smalling lingered for long period of time tells u all about ambition of this club.

Chris, Stretha well said, people have short memories and unfortunately, their standards have dropped beyond rock bottom.
Glazers have won. We're happy being a mid table team as long as they get dividends.
What is happening to our fan base? For God's sake, wake up and smell the roses.
We're being taken for a ride and some on here are too blinkered to notice.

AAA I agree! On subject of Jones and smalling and our current defensive options, I would in an ideal world sell every single one of them, there is not one defender in our squad ( not including the young lads who are on the cusp ) who is currently worthy of wearing our shirt! Including varane and Maguire, they’ve all wilted under the pressure of playing in front of fans again and in my opinion are either not good enough or in some cases they have the ability but lack the mentality to do it .

I better finish on a positive note, there aren’t many, but can’t wait for ETH to get stuck into these next week! Too easy too long springs to mind.

I have been posting about the damage the Glazer leaches have done and continue to do for many years. There are some who defend it or excuse it, that’s partly why it continues.

Sad to say but we’re never going to challenge again until the glazers have gone. Dividends are more important than success although without the latter the former will soon start diminishing. Hoping we’re now going to turn a corner and start to slowly get back to where we’d all like to be but these owners have sadly drained all the optimism out of me. Truly hoping I’m wrong.
