I got a call yesterday morning asking if I wanted hospitality tickets to the match. I considered taking them and not going just so no united fan had to endure what was about to happen.
I haven’t watched a lot of us lately but I don’t understand why anyone here is blaming the manager? Squads full of players with no professional pride. I’m sure Ralf can’t wait until his time is up this season.

Pep or Klopp couldn't manage his group of scumbags.

I've had it with them, I accept players have dips and peaks in form, I accept not all players are technically good enough for where we want to be.

What I can't accept is a total lack of effort. I saw more hard work from the guys playing in Soccer Aid.

That is simply not acceptable. If it was down to me all of them would be getting 50% wages for 50% effort. If they want 100% of their wages then they need to give 100% effort.

Sadly contracts wouldn't allow that.

Shappy you don't even need to go that far mate, if we put that little effort in to our day jobs we would be fired.

If anyone employs you to do a job and you get a wage you do it to the best of your ability or ship out.

According to MEN, Bruno Fernandes held a dressing room inquest after the match. Really? What nerve! He needs to take a hard look at himself and his contribution. He is not a leader. Leaders lead by example, not petulant complaining, flapping his arms around and crying at others.

I think that is the biggest issue. A clear lack of effort. When we were winning titles, Liverpool was always a tough match and even though they didn’t have a better squad, they showed up and made it a match. They were still able to take points off us.
This team makes me sick. This is the first season that I haven’t bothered to watch us as much. I have been happy enough to part with my hard earned money previously and go and watch them but this lot? Not anymore. No chance.
I know that there are fans that follow our club to places like Anfield and I applaud them for that. I just don’t know how they can make that trip and stomach what they see. It would honestly depress me!

WYRed, spot on mate. Imagine being this poor at your job every day of the week. These guys are making a mockery out of the money that they earn. Thank god the number of games left can be counted on one hand. Can't wait to see the backs of this lot.

The most surprising thing about yesterday's result is that Liverpool didn't score double figures. Because if they really went for the jugular they could easily have scored 10 or more.

Let's not forget Liverpool beat us 5-0 at Old Trafford earlier in the season when we weren't playing as poorly as we are now. Even just kicking the ball around for the final 30 minutes purposely not threatening to score after Pogba was sent off in the 60th minute (15 minutes after being subbed on) .

In the two games against Liverpool we have lost 9-0 on aggregate and in both games Liverpool could and should have scored 4-5 more goals if they went for the throat.

Norwich with a vastly weaker squad gave us a real game and could have got a result against us. How? Effort.

Hard work beats talent when talent forgets to work hard.

This is the laziest bunch of scumbags I have ever seen play for us.

I watched with my 7 year old, he's a good little footballer and wants to play every minute of the day.

I pointed to each and every Liverpool player and said, that's how hard you need to work when playing football. You might not be the biggest, quickest, most skilful but if you work hard and never give up, you can be whatever you want to be.

He, like me, is a man utd fan, but watching that yesterday was the most embarrassing match I have ever watched.

These players have to be one of the laziest group I've ever seen.

It's a culture that has been allowed to grow over the last number of years and won't be rectified until those who handle the footballing matters either change or are gotten rid of.
