Scattergun approach. If the idea is indeed to bring Poch in at the end of the season then surely you try and find someone who can implement a similar style. Ragnick and Farve would be the best two options but as many have said, I don’t think we’re smart enough to offer Ragnick what he wants. I think by the weekend we will know who the interim will be. It’s not a good look for PSG to let Poch leave mid season even if they would get compensated. Maybe if PSG get beaten well tonight, things could change.

Hi Ed002, apart from the four mentioned above, is there anyone else that has been spoken to about taking over as interim?

{Ed002's Note - Fonseca but the issue is that if they are only going to be given a short-term contract with no chance of the fukk time role why would they be interested?}

It's insane to think that we could give the job to one of those as interim until the end of the season, they could turn around and win the Champions League, FA Cup and finish top four and still have no chance of getting the job full time.

Valverde is sat at home watching countdown so why wouldn't he be interested in 6 months well paid work?

As for going for someone to implement a style, we can't be that fussy now, just have to take the best candidate to do a job for 6 months.

What about looking at it from Pochs point of view - if UTD really want him and will wait until end of season and he knows this then why shouldn't he stay at PSG .11 points clear in league would be the biggest thing he has ever won why take it away from him?

I just think PSG won’t be keen on letting him leave mid-season. Rumours Zidane isn’t sure about taking over mid season also.

Definitely a fukk time role at United ed.
They’re all good managers with good CV’s. It’s a big risk to come in as an interim. Clubs a mess and if they don’t perform their stock goes down. What a mess.

The obvious and sensible choice for the job is Ragnick then move him upstairs to handle the footballing side of the club, but the amateurs won't want to do that.

I'm sure the situation was different but Hiddink was happy to do it for Chelsea a while back with no chance of a full time job.
