What a shambolic first half.
Thoroughly outplayed by Wolves.
Fred is shocking and is always a liability with his poor touch and passing.

Fred has been awful but our shiny new signings both look like they’re in a pre season game aswell.

Pogba can’t play in the middle anymore Fred isn’t good enough to do the work of 2 men in there when PP goes on a wander.

I agree we have been awful but to single Fred out as a bad player is just jumping on the bandwagon, none of them are getting near wolves and we are being outplayed all over the pitch.

Very lucky to be 0-0 at half time.

It was hardly shambolic mate.
I do agree about Fred though. When he’s bad, he’s really bad! At his best, he’s just an average squad player.
We’re screaming out for a decent DM.

No, Fred was actually dreadful first half -no matter who was or wasnt alongside him. Neither he not James should be anywhere near a team in top half of premiership.

3 points so no point moaning but by god we looked a poor team for 80 minutes there.

How can you blame a manager when he's only half involved in player recruitment Anyway wolves played out if their skin and still didn't get behind us. One true chance and de gea thwarted them. They had more penetration and weren't good enuf. Mason is class, we need a strong midfield. if we get one we ate in the hunt. Souness is a plank.

@Mangetout sorry but Fred was screaming to be singled out! I’d argue that he was the one player, replacing whom, would’ve made the most difference! Just awful awful awful game from him which seems to the case rather than exception!

Hey @Ed14 I’d rather have my manager than yours ;) xoxo.

{Ed014's Note - there’s lucky for you as no other top team would touch him with a barge pole.

Yup. Agreed. I feel a whole lot luckier than you right now! and to add insult to injury, we also broke your away unbeaten run today : (. yall just can't catch a break eh!

But hang in there buddy!

{Ed014's Note - you’re going to need all you can get fella😂😂😂

Yes how can you blame the manager for setting up his team poorly, not adjusting his tactics, picking the wrong team, having zero impact after halftime. Guess that’s all Fred’s doing?

sit in a dark room and repeat these words over and over again "Viva Ronaldo" until the light shines upon ya'll. xoxo.

{Ed014's Note - 🤦‍♂️

@tombomb you may have a point actually, i didn't realize Ole intentionally asked fred to misplace basic passes, have a first touch heavier than a friggin aircraft carrier and to clear the ball to opposing players just outside his own penalty box.

When the same poor decisions from the manager are the rule and not the exception to the rule, you have to question scratch your head and say “he any good”. It’s odd that your sarcasm about Fred isn’t far from true. We know what Fred is likely to serve up week after week, yet continue to roll him out and then ole compounds the situation by pairing him with the defensively poor pogba.

Do you think if ole was the manager of any of the last ten premier league title winning squads would that team still have won the league? Based on what we see week after week I feel confident in saying no - and to me that’s a massive problem and will continue to hold the club back. He has plenty of time like his buddies and apologists have asked, and still no actual progress in his ability to organize a team and impact a game.

@tombomb fair enough! to answer your question, i sincerely do think ole could have won! We are at the moment a "nearly" team, objectively speaking that is i.e 2nd in the league last year and what have you!

Pertinently, we have not been even that since SAF left. Mourinho was our hollywood type appointment (and LVG was too perhaps - what with the world cup histronics) proven winner and all that, and he very well couldve won us a league title had he stayed longer, but we all know about the very public self destruct mode he went into.

I ask you, what hasn't Ole done for you? has he not cleared out the fellainis and the smallings? has he not ignited a bit of a spark in the team? has he not assembled the best squad we've had in a while (ofcourse management deserves credit - but mind you LVG n mourinho couldnt) .

before posters start here on the whole "settling with mediocrity" trope, i guess some of us feel like we know success ain't instant (unless your chelsea i suppose - that's some voodoo oil money) and sure the football sometimes ain't great, but i suppose why I am rooting for Ole is because my eyes haven't seen even this level since SAF left and to be honest SAF had soooooo many games like that towards the end as well.
