I think its pretty clear pogba is behaving and giving his all for the team so he can get his move.

He came across in his interview about ole and jose very well and I can see why he is much liked around the club.

I just hope he is let go at the end of the season like he wants and the club show him some respect.

If he focuses on his football and keeps putting in performancrs until the end of the season. I'd be happy to sign him off with a lot more respect than I would have done 12 months ago.

Captain yesterday, big interview today, doesn’t feel like a man who’s leaving to me.

The problem as ever is likely to be the demands of his agent, and how much control Pogba exerts over him. If he is considering staying, and I don’t know that he is, the wage demands are likely to be ridiculous which then causes all sorts of complications as we saw with Sanchez.

It feels like the circus is coming to town again.

For him to actually be sold, we would have to receive a reasonable offer.

We haven't exactly been turning down 9 figure offers for him have we, just a few player plus cash deals from madrid and Barcelona which are not exactly the deals to do.

I mean its rumoured Barcelona offered yerry mina and andre gomes, two average players the year after he won the world cup. I can't believe we turned down this amazing deal lol.

Madrid apparently offered a small sum of money plus James Rodriguez in 2019, above average player tbf but he's not exactly the league ablaze since he joined everton.

He's not going anywhere because nobody wants him.

With the current global state no one is likely to offer enough to make it worthwhile selling Pogba.

Frankly it's a ridiculous position to be in and one entirely of the club's own making.

Pogba has wanted to leave for three years, yet bar a brief period under Jose, he has been the perfect professional. He has trained well, played whenever asked and remains a cheerful positive presence in the dressing room.

The issue for clubs interested in Pogba is that his club form hasn't been to a world class level for a couple of years, while he had picked up a lot of niggling injuries in that time. Which makes paying a big fee and matching his large wages a bit of a gamble. While most of the club's looking at Pogba don't desperately need a midfielder, and look to focus their summer plans on other areas.

I think the best scenario for everyone concerned would be for Pogba to stay another year and leave on a free.

For Pogba he gets to move to the club of his choice.

His agent will make to most money from a bosman transfer.

The "buying" won't have to spend a large fee on him, and can focus on other areas this summer.

For United they keep one of their best players without having to replace him this summer. Meaning they can focus on signing key players in other positions.

For United the reality of selling him this summer is accepting a much lower fee for Pogba then having to spend more on his replacement who probably won't have as much quality. Or accepting a swap deal for a players they weren't really interested in signing.

Real and Juventus would take him, but only at a cut price. Their no one out their at the moment who will pay what United would demand for him. Pogba holds all the cards here. Get the season over with.
Have a honest discussion with him, regarding the issues in the past, it's obvious internal things have happened, see what he wants and decide from their.

It was promising to see him captain the team on Thursday after Jose said a few years ago, he would never captain the team again.

If you spend you career creating this ridiculous "value" in a player, then you have made your bed so to speak when you are priced out of a move you want.

I just don't think he has played well enough to cement his dream move away to Barcelona or real. If he wS playing like a galactico the would have come in by now, because both have needed to inproves their teams over these past few years.

Plan B is no doubt a "free" transfer. Where the agent and player receive astronomical payments and wage demands will now be even higher. Interesting to see if anyone does push to take him. Or looks to other options.

Could see him ending up at PSG eventually, after one more year with us.

I'd like him to stay personally, but who knows exactly what is going on behind the scenes. Is he really as unhappy as everywhere makes out? When's the last time you saw an interview with a professional footballer who didn't say that they were committed to winning things but couldn't rule anything out in the future? They all have coaching for interviews, they all give exactly the same responses to everything. Apart from James Maddison who gives a full-on pundit analysis for everything.

I agree spenno. I want him to stay. BUT only if he wants to stay and is committed and happy.

If not, he just needs to be honest with Ole and the club and they can all work out the best exit plan.

He seems to be happier with the way Ole treats him. So who knows.

As previously stated. idont think he's going anywhere this year

So he needs to spend the WHOLE of next season like he is at the moment (up for it) and then, and only then will he be sold.

{Ed077's Note - Pogba will be a free agent at the end of next season as things stand, so he won't be "sold" after the Whole of next season.
