Not a rumour but I would love Bellingham in oyr team. Real box to box player and so mature.

Could of had him but wouldn’t pay him £56000 a week. Oh well we’ll buy him for £100 million and give him £500,000 a week. Sound familiar.

Blackpool how accurate is the first part of your statement? Was it all about his waves?

I think he has a clause in his contract to play a certain amount of money at Dortmund and that's the reason he went there. I think we wanted him for the under 18-under 23 at the first place and then put him in the first team slowly.

A couple of years from now. Definitely a yes. He needs to have a few season to develop at Dortmund.

Think Herrera’s right: more playing time in first team convinced Bellingham to go to Dortmund. Also think they were in contact with him for a few years before and put on tbe full charm offensive to win him over - all the effort they put into getting him certainly paid off though.

On a byword, Man City still hoovering your all the best youngsters in tbe world. Why aren’t we as good at doing this?

Of course I mean who would play him ahead of Fred.

We tried our best to sign bellingham, he just made the right decision to prioritise first team football at a really high level.

Lots of people complain about youngsters chasing the money or making poor decisions, bellingham seems like he's wise beyond his years on and off the pitch.

Credit to him and the team around him.

{Ed077's Note - totally agree.}

We did everything to get Bellingham but in the end he chose to go to Dortmund.

Well said DSG, quite evident in how he reacted after Gundogan came at him, knowing he was on a yellow.

I'm sure he'll be the next Dortmund player to dominate the transfer headlines, probably next summer though. Got the other two to deal with first.

I think even himself said some days ago that he went there to play. To be fair i have friends who support Dortmund and said me that until 1 month ago Bellingham was very average, and that's normal for a 17 year boy. But that means that he couldn't play in a much harder league like Premier League. I was very upset when we lost him at Dortmund, way more than Sancho.
