Jesse played where he’s playing now many times. His confidence was shot ( a lot due to the cretins on social media I would imagine ) . He had personal issues off the pitch as well.

Sometimes all players need is a new environment as he’s always had ability and a good eye for a goal. Made up for him to be doing so well, I hope West Ham and ourselves come to an agreement for him to remain there permanently.

As someone said above, he's getting the space to run into at West ham that he wouldn't be allowed for utd, so it's not just about his position, it's about how the opposition set up.

Lingard is on a good run but in my opinion that's all it is, a good run. He's hit a bit of form at a new club. It happens all the time.
It's worked in our favour him hitting form as it means more money for us when we come to sell him.
