Hi Mumbles, just my weekly reminder to you about the LORD and SAVIOUR JESSE LINGARD! If I get banned from spamming the group then so be it. Would just like to make the point that as a fan base that maybe we're too quick to judge our players and call them garbage, when a lot of them are actually very talented, but often misused. We're all often short sighted and forget that players are human and can drop in and out of form. Maybe us supporting them on social media rather than ripping them down might help boost their confidence.

If Lingard was any good he wouldn't have had to go on loan to West Ham.
Some teams don't suit certain players. Lingard went 18 months playing as the jewel in the United crown in central attacking midfield position and didn't register a goal or an assist.
Bruno managed to more goals and assists in 1 year at the club than Jesse did in his entire career.
Playing at West Ham he's found his level. Teams aren't constantly sitting back and being one of the main men suits him.
I'm not on any social media so I don't abuse any players but as for Lingard, he brings it on himself. He's the class clown who never grew up.
Better players have left United and gone on and done well.
He would not have gotten near any of our title winning squads. The fact you're coming on as some sort of gotcha, is a damning indignation of how far our club as fallen.
You'll get your wish though. I'm sure he'll be back in our squad next season and Ole will proclaim it's like "a new signing".

Lingard just can't stop scoring right now :)
Slunkyred, Lingard was abysmal an year back. He went without scoring or assisting for more than a year.
That is criminal for a United no 10.
We have a beast of a playmaker now in Bruno. Maybe Lingard has found his level as a big fish in a small pond.
He is enjoying his football right now, turning 29 this year.
Best thing for us is to hope for a bidding war end of the season. Use him as a sweetner to get Declan Rice.

Why has he found his level, that's an odd statement.
He is playing well in the epl and for England. It's not like he has dropped down a league .

Expectation is lower at west ham, he is playing against teams that don’t just sit back against them and he has to be clever to break down. He’s looked good and playing well for them like he didn’t for us so obviously this is more his level. I’m very happy for him.

Sounds more like he is doing better than people expected not just for West ham .
