I’d take Fred the red over Ole’s tactics at the moment.

{Ed077's Note - or you could have Ed(077) the red.🤣😜

2.) 05 Mar 2021

Red Man, probably Ole should have discussed on what to do if that tactic didn't work and it could have helped him today.

I think I come on here every morning to a random quote taken out of context now, it’s getting a bit silly. I think we get it red man, everything he says is wrong, he can’t do anything right and you want him sacked. Saves you searching for random quotes then.

{Ed014's Note - 🤔 not like someone else having a differing outlook/opinion.

Exactly the same could be said of the stuff you post.

Jesus redman not sure why your upset about that it could be a whole lot worse he could have asked shappy.

6.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 11:12:32
GDS2 yes right, there are things taken out of context every now and then over here like when the team plays poorly or draw/ lose everyone and everything gets the blame except for Ole.

Just let people express their opinions and vent out their frustrations if that helps them in any way possible.

7.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 11:13:05
Could be worse, he could say the spirits advice him, who are we to know better :P.

8.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 11:35:18
To be honest I'd rather he listen to his Dad on football tactics than Mike Phelan.

The style of play is almost identical to how we played in our last title winning season. The major difference is we had a team full of top quality proven winners, whereas now we just don't. The common denominator is Phelan running coaching sessions.

mbd, "the spirits" this is getting spooky now.

LPU,

I rarely see posts that don't blame Ole for certain things, I think the ‘realists’ amongst us understand that Ole isn’t perfect but also isn’t the only issue. Just don’t get what posting every quote he says and twisted it into a negative is a bad thing.

If Pep said he got advice from his family (which I’m sure he does, who doesn’t take advice from their parents, shows he’s a good family man) I don’t think people would be saying it’s a negative. It’s just an odd thing to throw at someone.

It actually reminded me of the coach driver sat on the bench in SAFs first game in charge.

05 Mar 2021 10:34:31
Ed,

When I start posting random quotes every day I’ll take that on board. I am fully aware people have different opinions, I’m fully aware what Red Man’s opinion is and understand and respect it. I don’t think random quotes add anything to that and I am allowed to think posting them every day is a bit silly. Or am I not?

{Ed014's Note - so if you are then he’s ok to post what he likes, no?

13.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 10:35:52
Ed14,

Maybe leave the replies to 77 in future, it’s been nice on here with the Ed’s respecting regulars.

{Ed014's Note - wow who put you in charge, simply because I change numbers doesn’t mean I don’t know you or having read your sucking up posts to ed077.

14.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 11:50:37
Could have been worse, he could have asked Mike Phelan.

15.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 12:41:51
Ed014 you are the 004?

{Ed014's Note - no I’m ed014 changed from ed047

16.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 12:48:42
Whatever my father told me I did the opposite. Maybe ole should try that 😂.

17.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 12:55:34
Herrera he moved numbers. he thought arsenal were going to finish 47 points behind United but had revised that to 14. he might be ed05 before the end of the season🤣🤣.

{Ed077's Note - wait a minute. So does it mean we will finish on 77 points and 4th position?

18.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 13:12:20
Highly unlikely ed but you can always dream. be nice to get your 4th place trophy back.
Personally I think it will be a real dogfight for 2 3 4th i'd live to see Everton make it but not sure they will.

19.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 13:13:21
Leahy I think we all did the same.

20.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 14:18:31
GDS, are those of us who think Solksjaer is just crap rather than 'not perfect' unrealists or not realistic? What are you trying to say?

Also, if Pep is taking advice from his dad then I'd say he should continue because it is working well, wheras if Solksjaer is taking his dad's advice then he should probably stop because it is obviously poor advice. Maybe Mike Phealan is Solksjer's dad?

21.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 14:37:06
GDS2 buddy, when it comes to football on the pitch, Ole IS THE ONLY ISSUE unless ofcourse you can tell me that you saw Ed Woodward and the Glazer family teaching Fred and Maguire on how to pass a football. Tactics aren't drawn up in the board room.

You swap City and United managers and team positions will also swap.

22.) 05 Mar 2021
05 Mar 2021 15:16:47
Manc,

I used ‘realist’ because that’s what people say on here when their opinion is more important that others, just a bit of banter, know I have to be careful with that on here though :)

Ahhh it makes sense now then, I thought we had 2 Ed’s disrespecting posters but it’s just the same one. Nobody made me boss, it’s just been good on here with an editor respecting everyone’s opinion.

I never said Red Man can’t post what he likes, I said I think it’s just a bit silly posting quotes out of context to have yet another dig.

{Ed077's Note - if you don't want to be "disrespected" than don't be an elitist, narrow-minded are with a tunnel vision. }

05 Mar 2021 13:17:35
Oh missed you 047 (014). Welcome back with a different number, but leave us alone and let 077 do the job 😅.

{Ed014's Note - haha happy to mate just unfortunately came across the page numpty. 🤷‍♂️🤣

United Addict, While to an extent I'd agree, the manager still need the required parts at a sufficient quality to make the machine work.

Lewis Hamilton is a sensational driver, Romain Grosjean is good. If you put Hamilton in the Haas car and Grosjean in the Mercedes I some how doubt Hamilton would be finishing above Grosjean. Quite simply because the Mercedes F1 car is significantly better than the Haas car.

People talk about Pep being some kind of coaching god like he can literally take any player and make them Messi. The truth is that he struggled in his first season at City and it wasn't until he signed enough of his own players to suit what he wanted to do did it start baring fruit. Same with Klopp at Liverpool. Both of them had at least 7 of their own signings in the starting 11 before they won their first title.

Now that doesn't mean Ole is a good manager, just that while Ole is in charge many people assume this group of players are wildly better than they are.

05 Mar 2021 15:17:38
AU I'm not defending Ole but you can't seriously be blaming hime for Fred's poor passing.

Next week on manchesterunitedrumours. co. uk: Ole to blame for years of bad weather to Manchester. His dad told him to make it rain, and the sod delivered.

Shappy Pep didn't struggled in his first season, he played more or less the same football but he was just not so effective. Don't rewrite history.
In his first season, in our fourth game of the season we played against them and they schooled us in our ground and his team played like Pep was there forever. What he was doing, what he was trying to do was there for the first day.
Pep reached 100 98 and this year 90 points with different players and different heroes, it was De Bruine Sane then Aguero Silva then Gundogan. He also hit 90+ points with Otamendi and no left back and injuries in his most effective players. I can see that he hardly relies in 1-2 players. Has he a very good squad? Ofcourse he has. But the big difference at City is the manager and not the squad.
I know i am in the minority but i think althought they have a good squad we overestimate them. Its not like 2012 Zoses Real with the fantastic 4 upfront of Di Maria Benzema Ozil and Ronaldo. Nor like Barcelonas team with Iniesta Xavi Messi Alves Pugiol Maxwell. Not like Reals team which won 3 Champions League in a row with a squad full of top class players at their peak. City have a very good squad but we overestimate them because of price tags.

Oles Dad was a wrestler, I can see him giving advice to Rojo, Smalling, Maguire and Jones.
