I think my main emotion this year has been frustration. Be honest, was anyone expecting a 4-0 win last night. The team had been stuttering badly and the zip had gone yet last night we sparked and other than a dodgy first 10 minutes we looked good throughout.

A lot, played well and we looked like a team, we created a lot of chances and put 4 of them away. So where has this form been, and what are we so bloody inconsistent?

Rashford both impresses and frustrates in the same game, James eventually got into the game and contributed really well, his last goal encapsulated what most of us were expecting from him when we signed him. Maguire was very solid, Fred and Scott ran the midfield, and Bruno was Bruno. I liked the team lasypt night with age do, Bailly and dare I say James. Add Cavani and Shaw in and that is my preferred 13.

We can play well, we can create chances, we can dominate and win games, but it’s so frustrating that this team can suddenly look lethargic and lacking in ideas.

I’m also going to, give live chat a miss from now in, 4-0 up, played well, and people were still moaning. It’s bad enough having to listen to it when we have played badly but after a game like that, I give up.

I thought Tuanzebe should have started from the beginning. He needs minutes. I hope be don't become embroiled in a EL run that sees us missing out on the top 4.

Age do? Should have been Hendo.

I watch a fair bit of different leagues around Europe, and if I'm the big thing that stands out is the clear disparity between the top teams and the rest.

Teams that finish 5th or 6th in Spain, France, Italy or Germany would be battling relegation in the EPL. Tactically the managers tend to get more out of their players, but the quality of their players just isn't anywhere near what it is in the EPL.

What this highlights is that playing and winning in the EPL is much harder to do so consistently as most teams have a few players who can hurt you.

This season everyone is hopelessly inconsistent, Liverpool have both scored and conceded 7 goals in different games. We lost 6-1 to Spurs but beat Southampton 9-0.

The circumstances of the league this year means that it cannot be judged by the same standards that we would normally judge it.

Form is very temporary this season, and it's not just us. Everyone has been impacted.

I think the inconsistency comes from consistently selecting and in balanced team.

Henderson > De Gea
Bailly > Lindelof

Those two changes really add a lot to the overall balance.

I hope we go all out to win it as I think top 4 will be a struggle.

Good spot Utd Road, I’d keep those changes.

Ken, I don’t think top 4 is going to be a struggle. We’ve had a dodgy run but others will too and we have a lot of points in the bag. We shall see.

I thought we played really well yesterday and could have scored more goals than we did .
I'm not sure our opponents game plan was the greatest I've ever seen if they have watched much of united, leaving space behind the defense and giving fast attackers one on one situations with big spaces behind the defender but that's on them they paid the price for it .
Good win and good performance.

We generally do well when teams do not sit deep and play into our hands by playing on the front foot without having real quality up top and then succumb to our counter attacks. That was the case yesterday and nothing surprising really.

Although Rashford did miss a few chances we took most of our other chances yesterday which is encouraging.

Great win, would have definitely taken that score at any time. The opposition set up was a bit like Leipzig at home, their coach left space for our pace to run onto, tactical suicide. Leipzig learnt from the first game but RS are four down so can’t compact the space and sit deeper next time. They might but it will be tougher to score 4 unanswered at OT. Also it was a neutral ground last night, so we definitely had the advantage overall.

Other teams will watch and see how high a line to play and that is going to be our challenge. We struggle tactically against more compact teams who deny space in behind.

Enjoyable to watch the game, something we haven’t been able to say recently.

I stopped with the live chat a while back Tony, occasionally come on at half time in games to see what is going on and say hi to the regulars, I guess it’s just a place where people can vent as emotions run high during the game but the negativity is crazy at times. Obviously didn’t see last night but I can imagine.

I think we are in a battle for top 4 but can’t honestly say it will or should end up being a struggle, we are in a good position, rarely lose away from home and should pick up enough points to cement it. I also hope we go for the Europa though, a trophy for Ole would really do him good.

I don’t think there was much negativity on live chat on Thursday, the only real frustration was Ole again not using substitutions well. Three nil up away from home and we would have liked to see more than 8 mins or whatever it was of Amad plus take the opportunity to rest someone. We had five subs and Ole doesn’t use them in a busy season, so what was wrong in expressing that concern? Or if the score is in our favour we must all bow down and only say positive things?
