Thanks for the round up Ed.
Has anyone else noticed how many times Pogba says 'I' in his interviews, egotism at its peak.

Wouldn't it be just weird if he referred to himself as we or should he be talking like zlatan does and refer to himself in 3rd person? Do you normally address yourself in plural or in 3rd person when talking about yourself mbd?

@mbd, you have to take into account that it was a translation, but also that first person singular pronoun is much more standard in France, so there's a cultural side to it. It has more to do with subjectivity than egotism I would say, as in, it is considered wrong to speak for others and especially as the question was directed to him and about him, what do you expect, a Zlatan type use of third person?

Also, the translation omits something that is quite important and gives a different context to the whole. Pogba initially says 'I dreamt of playing for Madrid', using past tense, before speaking in the present and acknowledging it would still be nice, maybe one day. The original, untranslated version, sounds much more like he is just musing rather than saying anything concrete, what follows is a commitment to United and his openness to discuss a contract, but that Woodward hasn't offered anything as of yet.

And according to The Mirror Real Madrid have no interest in signing him. Looks like we’re lumbered.

Yes he should be far more classy and use the pronoun, one when referring to oneself.

I don't have much time for the fella as a footballer, but this is starting to get a bit desperate, now.
