So who has seen the name your 11 challenge going around?

Name the greatest World XI under these the rules:

• No two players from the same country

• No two can have played for the same club

• All eleven have to have played in your lifetime

Really tough challenge, as most great players have played for one or more of the top European sides, or come from the same country.

Here's my 11:

GK - Oliver Kahn
RB - Seamus Colesman
CB - Vincent Kompany
CB - Diego Godin
LB - Paolo Maldini
CDM - Claude Makelele
CM - Juninho Pernambucano
CM - Pavel Nedved
RW - Leo Messi
ST - Alan Shearer
LW - Ryan Giggs

Only one I'm not happy with is Coleman, but there is a lack of quality RB's. The issue kept being that the names I came up with either were from a top side where there was a better player in another position or a better player from the same country. People like Lahm, Cafu, Dani Alves, Javier Zanetti or Gary Neville would have meant players such as Kahn, Maldini, Juninho or Messi would miss out. Also realised that it's difficult to name someone who is either Spanish or Dutch as they have all played for either Real Madird, Barcelona, AC Milan or Juventus. Often at least two of them.

GK- Oblak
RB- Thuram
CB- Adams
CB- Kompany
LB- Maldini
RW- R. de Boer
CM- Keane
CM- Scholl
LW- Mané
ST- Drogba
ST- Son

This isn't that easy, too many great players switching between the better clubs.

Noticed I had a conflict between Thuram and de Boer, both having played for Barcelona, so I'll switch out de Boer for Figo, which is probably stronger anyway.

It's a really tough one. So many players have played for the same sides or play for the same international teams.
