ED001,

Which forwards (realistic) do you think would suit UTD?

We've been linked to quite a few recently.

{Ed001's Note - I would say Harry Kane, mainly because he is the big name they want.

Why not someone like Cavani? PSG would like rid and he is over 30 but you have great youngsters, you need someone to guide them through. In fact I would say he was probably the ideal signing, big name, scores goals and he is not going to block kids from coming through.}

Lewa or Cavani for me.

ED001 do you think he could cut it in the EPL?

I thought the same about Ibrahimovic, but he was older and managed to make an impact.

Would wages be a concern is the club were to buy him. I think ED002 mentioned wages were an issue in regards to FFP.

{Ed001's Note - I don't see any reason for Cavani not to cut it, he is perfectly capable of dealing with the physicality.

Wages will be an issue for anyone trying to buy him, but United can offer him a central role and give him almost guaranteed first team football.}

Would Europa League football or no European football appeal to him?

Let’s be honest, United is major step down.

AJH,

I agree. Where we finish at the end of the season, will determine who we sign.

Hatter, I was attempting sarcasm.

Cavani could be a good option, but would he be happy with a rotation role?

It's great to have a truly top class striker with bags of experience, but we have seen with Zlatan. It can come at a cost. Martial et al need to be getting miuntes every week. Otherwise they will stagnate and not progress.

Will someone like Cavani be happy to play 60 minutes every week so that others can have 30 minutes a game?

Cavani will certainly get more game time at united then at psg and i can see him do well here. He could also teach a thing or two to Rashford in being cool headed infront of the goal.

Bale rumours resurfacing again as a way to get him off their books and us to move on Pogba?!

Cavani would be the ideal option for us.
A 2-3 year deal, during which Greenwood and other forwards can learn from him.

I have the same concern as Hatter, especially thinking back to Falcao. Even Pato at chelsea.
