The people who were calling us toxics are finally realising that we were realists infact. We bottled the transfer window completely. Not only in terms of not signing the players we needed but selling the players that are falsely classified "deadwood" while real deadwoods are still in the club.

I frankly expected all of this happening. Of course i did not expect to be in relegation battle but Gosh this is bad. Lampard came just months ago and his vision is crystal clear in his team, let alone the fact that he wasnt able to buy players, he has done what a manager has to do.

I don't understand how the club of our stature started this season so unprepared. Woodward and Glazers are major culprit but Ole is the one to share the blame as well. At least Mourinho stood against these idiots. Ole is a yes man trapped in the naivity and saying all the right things but doing opposite.

I can see us conceding 3 4 goals against liverpool and getting into relegation considering we have couple of away games in line.

Liverpool are walking the league in just 8 games and we are battling at the lowest part of table.

Gosh. This is heart breaking.

Everyone is blaming ole but no one mentioned phelan Carrick or McKenna.
Phelan has been sacked from every job he's had. He by all counts has a a very big saying on team selection coaching tactics etc. Carrick just like ole is very reserved show no passion on the touchline. Not sure about McKenna. Rumours of players not happy with his style of coaching. Ole does look well out of his depth. But he has to have at least 2 windows to get players in and out. He got rid of Fellini Lukaku, tried getting rid of rojo smalling Sanchez's gone on loan. Matic will go in January probably. Lingard young Fred and jones hopefully at the end of season.

Draig read the posts lots of blame attached to the entire coaching squad.

Funny Draig. You still giving him 2 windows. I won't give him 2 more minutes.

He got rid of Fellaini, Lukaku? Sanche on loan? They and Herrera could have won this game for us. I am not sad they were sold but selling them without replacing. seriously?
We already have paper thin squad and you see us selling Matic in Jan. It doesn't work that way.

Stretha, there's a difference between toxic and passionate. People call us toxic as we speak the truth and the truth hurts, but in actual fact, we're realists and passionate about the club. I went to every match, home and away from 1969 till 1999. When I'm told I'm toxic, it hurts. My wife will tell you, I live and breath United as I love the club and our past achievements.
But this situation is shambolic and heads have to roll.
The Glazers could ignore us, but time will come when they have to do what owners do, manage responsibly with passion and drive. Csn they do that? Not in my opinion, so as the revenue and share price dwindles, so will their fortunes. They will sell up, but for now, worse days lie ahead I'm afraid. If that's toxic, so be it. If everyone got their heads out of their bums, they'll see what's happening.

Draig, I've been saying for some time that phelan is the worst coach I've seen and carrick is as stead and unmotivating as can be. So we have the manager and coaches who are all dour, and the football we're playing is imaging their characters.

Srestha,

You might as well have just typed ‘I told you do’. Enjoying this far too much for my liking.

Wow GDS. That is what you got from my whole post? I have no agenda against you GDS. We both want our club to get where it belongs. "I told you so" is the part where me and many fans were right to question the club when we saw things going wrong and now it has, we have the right to speak about it.

I am not saying "I told you so", but i am saying that we had to united against the maniacs before but we were not united ourselves. Now we desperately need to be united against these jokers before they create even more mess.

Gds there can be no pleasure in this for anybody imo.
I posted last week that the whole situation saddened me.
Usually when you want a manager change you feel a dislike or a frustration towards him. But i like ole. He really wants to do well and he loves the club. But ge is simply out of his depth i hope we identify a new coach and ole can be talked into stepping aside and resign in the best interests of the club.

I don't know how we going to score a goal my gosh. We are in relegation form right now.

Rashford is winger and ole keeps playing him as front man.
He doesn't even make simple runs and keeps asking for the ball in his feet all the time.

No pattern of play no philosophy ole is just clueless and a yes man to Woodward.

We are getting poisonous as a club and keep destroying careers of managers from moyes to Jose to ole.

Something has to be done quickly or we will keep sliding downwards.
Woodward Glazer's must go go go.

There's a difference between passionate and toxic. Most fans are passionate but some are toxic. The Glazers aren't going anywhere soon.

I have a gut feeling Ole won't be here for the Liverpool game. I know he's a very single minded, determined man, but I just feel he'll think he can't turn this round. Just a hunch.

{Ed047's Note - there is a possibility that they gave him the job with certain understandings and they have no intention of parting company with him.

I agree with ed here and i don't think Ole will be sacked anytime soon. They will see how he does until The end of month and if we are still around the relegation zone then he will get sacked.

This whole situation is a mess qe shouldn't have been in the first place.

From what Ed47 said, I m getting the impression that part of Ole s job is to
- move certain players out
-integrate as much youngsters as possible, to see which ones could make it or not
-See if certain players whose career stalled like Martial can improve
-sign new players to build a new team.

The main issue apart from the poor performance is that budget for new players is limited (100 m net spending was mentioned in summer) . Moreover the lengthy process every transfer took, didn't help. The excuse that the club works only on 1 transfer at a time, Imo was to cover up the clubs lack of ambition in the transfer market.

Now we ended with a squad unbalanced - very light in midfield and upfront. So light that we re almost dependent on two players - Martial and Pogba (and to a lesser extent on James) who both are injured.

I imagine that the top managers around would not have accepted these conditions because they knew that the team was in for a rough ride.

I might be wrong but that s my impression of the state of affairs.
