i agree ed i think we missed out big time with fernandes spelling.
{Ed047's Note - Bruno Fernandes is, if you believe a thing the press say, now linked to Madrid as an alternate to Pogba.
Everything suggests he is a top player, never seen him myself to comment though.
If he is anywhere near as good as his Portuguese team mate, Bernardo Silva, at City he would have been a great signing for you.

30 odd goals in one season says so ed. and if the rags are to be belived we pulled the plug because his passing stat was not as good as pogbas. i honestly think short sighted scouts watch these games.

ed 47 are you looking forward to watching the young celtic left back at your club. he looks a good player for the price sorry but can not help but think we missed a trick by not going in for him.
{Ed047's Note - yes mate although it won’t be until October, again I’ve not seen anything of him so it’ll be my first when he finally plays.
It’s a big step from the Scottish league to the premiership so it’s a case of wait and see.
Shaw has been a massive let down for you, I thought he was going to be a great acquisition but he’s gone backwards.

I agree shaw has time on his side. Given his better season last season lb was not a priority young and dalot provide cover.
If shaw continues to improve which is possible then a top lb will not be needed. If he doesn't improve then they may bring in competition and replace young.

Time for Young to be let go Ken, he tries his heart out when he plays, but it's time for an upgrade, I thought United would have been all over Tierney in the transfer window.

Shaw has lots of room for improvement.
The injuries and lack of trust from previous managers halted his progress.
We must realize that last season was the first time in 5 seasons where he played consistently.
If he steps up even more this year, we will not need a Left back any time soon.
Since he is just 24 he is yet to enter his peak years.
However, I would hope we use Dalot at every opportunity to rotate either Shaw or AWB as he can cover both FB positions.
Young should be fourth choice.

He has went from one of the biggest clubs in the world to Arsenal who get thesame 60,000 crowd as Celtic, so it's not a step up 047, you will enjoy this lad, but enjoy him while you can, this lad is bound for Barcelona eventually.

The pressure on players to win every week at Celtic in front of that huge crowd is on par with playing for Arsenal Ed047, Celtic are a massive club with fans all over the world, believe me as someone who has watched a lot of Tierney, you Arsenal boys are in for a treat, wait to you see him tackling ed, he makes Viera look shy lol.
