Well I won't be a coward about it now. Congrats on the victory :-)

Guess it was deserved, though I don't think the difference between the 2 was nearly as big as the score suggests. We got a bit unlucky with the finishing on a couple chances, and on some other the players just didn't pick the right options.

After your penalty our inexperience showed and it took a while for us to regain composure and take control again. 2nd goal sealed it (lazy by Azpi), and 3rd made it worse than it had to be (again, thanks for switching off, Azpi) .

4th goal I thought was a bit of a shame. Zouma was down because of contact to the head. Maguire even signalled to stop play. Taylor even looked at it and just didn't do anything. Was a bit sad to see that happen.

Winning 4-0 is never undeserved, but I thought it was overly harsh for us. Good start to the season for you.
As I've said before, you have a good team with some very good players. But chance creation has to be a bit of a concern as you had to rely on idiot errors from us. Obviously we gladly obliged today lol.

Onwards and upwards for us. We've still got some big players getting back from injury in Rudiger, Kante and Callum, with James and Pulisic also getting starts soon probably. So things should improve rapidly. Hopefully.

It’s fine margins sometimes Jackson. I don’t think we should get over excited and I don’t think you should get too depressed, it was a very even game for an hour. However, I don’t see where your goals are going to come from which is going to hurt you mate.

Jackson 4 nil does not reflect the game as a whole mate but pulisic had to start for me. Goals are going to bee the issue. Big fight on for Chelsea to secure top 4 imo.

We rode our luck in the first half, Jackson, and it just clicked in the second. Flattering, but that's football. Kudos for coming on here as well, mate.

I thought you guys played some nice stuff in the first half Jackson but maybe lacked that killer instinct. Defensively you just caved after the second goal. I don’t think you are quite as bad as that result suggests. But I think it will be a bit of a struggle.

Goals will indeed be the issue for us. But then we've had Morata, Torres and Shevchenko up front, so nothing new for us I guess haha.

Kante in the starting 11 will make a huge difference Jackson.
But the world class quality of Eden Hazard was clearly missing.

Fair play to you coming on here Jackson.
If one or both of those two efforts that hit the woodwork go in it's a totally different game with Chelsea in charge.
Bloody glad they didn't!
I had the feeling with everything that has gone on and been talked about this summer that this result would be a surprise to us all.
I just didn't know if it would be a positive or a negative.
Delighted it was the former :)
I think ths season is going to be one hell of a ride!
