I'm really not sure he's the right player, and the money is absurd for a player of his ability. BUT. he improves the side, so I guess we have to be happy ish with the deal. We really need to tread carefully because were in danger on genuinely becoming a 4th-6th side for the long term. I'm not confident in the direction we are heading. I don't think Ole is the man. I don't trust Woodward and to be frank we don't have many top players. Feels like this season is huge for the direction of this club for the next ten years.

I agree with some of what you say and disagree with some.
I think we have just signed 2 top epl players and a wildcard in james that adds something we have been sorely missing in blistering pace. He will be an important option this season.
Martial looks likely to improve. Rashford also.
Mctom will force his way into the team and looks to be improving very well.
Shaw and lindelof took big steps forward and needs to again this season.
Pogba looks likely to stay i just hope it works out.

Im not sure there is much improvement in mata rojo smalling jones matic jessie periera young or sanchez but new blood like chong greenwood gomes and tuanzebe could see the end of some of that old guard.

So we still do need a couple more.
Is ole the man? He has the job so let's wait and see.
To me its obvious that we need a DoF of sorts. i'm not sure on the score of that role without knowing the reset of the structure but with the autonomy for transfer and player and contract negotiations for sure.

Im 100% convinced Liverpool will lose more than 1 game this season. I think we will improve and from where we are that's what i want to see. I want to see players wanting to and be able to compete.
I think we will sign 2 more players if we do and get a good start we will compete to win trophies next season.
