Hi Ed002,

With Cavani not likely to renew his contract and Martial struggling to step up as our main striker, are United actively looking for an out and out striker or more of a versatile forward?

Could share some names of the options the club is looking at?

Thanks!

{Ed002's Note - I have answered this before, but here goes:
Andre Silva (S) was recomemnded to several clubs, certainly including Everton and Manchester United, by a very high-end independent scout who used to play in the Premier League. This dates back to last summer before his loan became a permanent move. But his agent may look to figure out a move to Old Trafford if Cavani leaves.
Moussa Dembele (S) loan is not going at all well at Atletico Madrid and that may put them off taking up their option to buy the player - would now be seen as risky but Manchester Inited could yet offer an option.
Harry Kane (S) Should Spurs listen to offers then PSG will head the quee. It is possible that Manchester United could consider the player again. As for Manchester City, he woulbe a fallback position and certainly not first choice.
Youssef En-Nesyri (S) West Ham and Manchester United apparently, via a third party, have made an approach to ask about availability and price for the player who has done well this season, but has not set the world alight previously. Will be off the AFCON when it comes around. Makes little sense but there remains the thought both sides could will look again in the summer - it would be doubtful he would be a starter for Manchester United.}

I have already emailed Eddie demanding we sign Haaland, so I am definitely expecting him to turn up come the summer. Woody likes to keep the faithful happy.

Thanks Ed. I did try searching but I didn't see a list in the search results.

Appreciate it.

I’d take the forward option, not out and out striker and not rely on one striker - ie Haaland.

If the Sancho deal is still possible and and affordable I’d go get him.

Even more convinced after that game tonight more than ever - Greenwood for me is the striker - we need a mobile forward. Sancho, Leon Bailey, a decent Martial etc.

Can we really see ourselves doing business with Mino Raiola to sign Haaland. As much as I'd love to see it, I think that bridge is well and truly burnt.

The only business to be done with Raiola is to sell Pogba in the summer.
