Question for Ed002 if you're about.

I saw you say on the Liverpool page that Nikola Milenkovic's reps are keen for him to move to us. There seems to be a lot of links in Italy about it today, so do you think this is one we currently working on and should be able to complete?

From what I've seen of him (which isn't loads) I would say he strikes me as a great "B" list defender. He is solid and dependable but not great at anything in particular. The guy you pair with a world class CB rather than a world class one himself.

Saw the Milenkovic links but surely he's a 'second' CB signing only. Torres first choice? I can see us in for 2 CBs if the penny finally drops that between Jones / Bailly / Tuanzebe that's only actually one player though its costing us about £250k a week!

I think Ed 001 and I discussed Milenkovic and Dias before Utd got Harry. I still rate Milenkovic quite high. Utd can probably get him at half what was paid for Maguire and significantly improve our defense. He is still young and can develop into a world class CB!
