Not being privy to the details obviously but on the face of it there are positives.
A €15m fee seems about right and a huge chunk off the wage bill.
Lets hope that smalling can get a deal that suits him i hope he does i'd like to see the club facilitate that.

Get shut of that lot and you take the best part of 60m a year off the wage bill and bring in 60m in fees
3 top players would cost 30m in wages per season max.
Move as many of those in as possible and then get ole the 3 players he wants.
Get him his 1st choices. Pay what's needed if affordable.

Fabrizio who seems to always be bang on has reported no fee for Sanchez. Glad to see the club have seen enough sense to just allow the player the move.

The wages saved are like a fee alone for a player his age.

Hopefully the same sense will be taken for players like smalling when reasonable fees are given to us to allow us to move forward.

The report is no fee but Inter will take care of his wages, meaning we will not to to payoff the rest of his contract. Considering his wages that is a fantastic piece of business.
We should have taken the same approach with Rojo.

No fee expected. But shaving £400k a week off the wage bill is a godsend. Genuinely thought we’d be lumbered with him on massive money for nothing for another few years.

I read he will earn €7 mill a year at inter and no fee between clubs so he has either walked away from a lot of money or you have paid him off to leave.

Probably a handsome sign on for him from inter instead of a them paying us a fee.
Also the tax in Italy is a lot less for international players. So i'd imagine that's a net 7m but either way we can have 3 top players in on for the same 500k a week we are paying him.

It's no fee so they can pay his high wages. I think ed002 already mentioned this a week or so ago. Still good to move him on and hopefully we've learnt from the whole shambles of a transfer.

The telegraph are reporting that Unt paid off some of his contract for him to leave would be interested to know if Ed002 has any knowledge on it. Players don't usually take £10mil pay cuts.
