3 signings made, 2 in positions which were vital we improved this summer. The other is centre midfield and potentially a replacement if lukaku goes and we have a week to get a deal done and we can call it a very successful summer.

There is some real quality already here as well as they have shown in pre season so it’s not all about shiny new players, need to get the best out of the ones already here and I can’t wait for the season to start. I’d expect more business to be done before next week though.

Ed I think we all know it's highly likely fernandes is going to spurs and dybalas not coming either so were does that leave us what's Plan B?

{Ed004's Note - By all accounts I would have to disagree with that. The two most reliable sources on the internet (in my biased opinion) are Ed2 and Di Marzio. Both of which have said we are pushing for a move. Tbh Im hopeful a deal for Dybala is done over the weekend. And we move for Bruno after he plays vs Benfica which is a massive game for Sporting. But thats me being optimistic.}

Also, Mandzukic would be a great signing in my opinion, top quality striker who hopefully wouldn’t mind not starting every week and would add some much needed experience to a very young and inconsistent front 4/ 5.

I have a feeling we won’t get him but if we did then it could be an absolute steal, we don’t have a player like him, would be a great option.

ED I hope your right about dybala and to wait till after the final for fernandes was probably the plan but looks like spurs have jumped in as he's told sporting he's leaving and is in talks with spurs according to reliable Portuguese press.

Reliable Portuguese press 😂 how come you believe them now but haven’t believed everything they have said all summer? It does make me laugh when people do that, as soon as there is a report of something people don’t like they immediately believe it.
