Why don't we get rid of Pogba to Real Madrid and say give us Bale and £60-70m.

Because we don’t need to disrupt our wage balance even more, especially with him wanting a 5 year deal and god knows how often he will be playing to max of his ability in those 5 years.

Would rather sell pogba for the 120-150 million that's being reported and buy Sancho for rw.

Get in a CB and 2 first team central mids with 1 prospect and if lukaku goes get vardy for a few seasons

Still pacy and scores goals.

I would have preferred to sign Bale if we had an option to shift out Sanchez.
So that wage issues don't get out of control.

Would rather have just cash than 70m + bale. We already have one ageing player on a huge contract who we are struggling to get rid of, the last thing we need is another Sanchez.

The people crying out for Bale and saying he won't be like Sanchez are the same people who were crying out for Sanchez and saying he wouldn't be like Di Maria.

Some people just want a big name signing. It doesn't matter if they fit into the team or if they are aging or on the decline. Just as long as they have a huge reputation and will be signed for lots of money.

Shappy, Bale is worth the risk imo.
He will win games on his own if he stays fit (a big if though) .
He brings massive goal threat, quality set-pieces etc, .
Since we are targeting a lot of youngsters, Bale on song can take the spotlight away from them.

But we should sign him on 'our terms' like more of his wages should be incentivised.

TrueRedDevil, the same was said of Sanchez. "A true world class player who could carry our young forwards" "not a risk even on those wages" "worth every penny" etc etc.

IF Bale can stay fit. IF he can adapt to our way of playing. IF he isn't in decline.

Lots of if's. The only guarantee is he would be on higher wages than Sanchez is on currently unless he takes a pay cut.

He is a player who heavily relies on pace at an age where he will start to slow down. Then when you take into consideration the injuries he has had (which often shortens a players career) then it seems like a reckless move that isn't necessary.

Bale is not United’s future.

Bale is not interested in moving to United, we need players that want to be here, not another di Maria.
