Daley Blind could be off to Roma. Class act if you ask me, just isn't quite at the level needed at United. He's the one Van Gaal signing I wanted to see workout.

I like Blind excellent passer and can play in a variety of positions. Clever tactically too just his lack of pace that let's him down. Be sad to see him go.

Good pro always gives 100% will do well elsewhere and I'm not sure it's true as we don't have a replacement but regardless he is not a ideal fit for us or the epl in general due to his lack of pace.

Blind has very good passing ability and seems to have a very good understanding of the game. However, I don't think he could replace Carrick.

Physically, Blind would struggle against teams that press high as he isn't quick enough not does he have the strength to hold people off. Carrick isn't the quickest but because of his awareness and ability to shield the ball is an excellent passing central midfielder.

If we have a good offer for Blind I'd say take it. We still have 5 CB's if he leaves and Shaw, Young, Darmian (doesn't look like he is leaving this window) and Rojo can all play left back. Next season we should have TFM back and he can fill a utility role in the squad.

Mediocre player. certainly not good enough for that central midfield area if we have aspirations of winning the Premiership and the champions League. I would be going for the Lazio midfielder Savic.

Only a few players can replace Carrick 666. I think Weigl is perfect and would love us to sign him. Otherwise you have Jorginho and of course Kroos. Tielemens is a left field option always been impressed with him and also Dendoncker. I would prefer we went for an engine in midfield as I think it would compliment pogba and matic better. A Vidal/ Kante would be perfect. Or the other option is go for more creativity like city do with De Bruyne and silva. Milinkovic Savic or Thiago alacantara would be perfect. I think Milinkovic Savic is the one we must move heaven and earth for. Interesting to see what we do.
