Just looked at the small list Chelsea still want gone and one name leaps out to me - Renato Veiga.

Big, reasonably quick, good passer, tough and physical. Excels in 2 positions we are having issues with - DM and LCB.

Chelsea are apparently looking for £30-£35m for him and I think that's about the range they probably think they can squeeze us to for Garnacho, maybe a swap?

I'll pass on swapping Garnacho who would be 100% PSR profit for someone who only played 9 times.

Issues at LCB?

I’d suggest that with Martinez, Heaven and Shaw having that as their strongest position and Yoro also doing well when played there last season, LCB is one of our strongest stocked positions.

Martinez Heaven and shaw, two of them are constantly injured and not very good when fit and Heaven being very young and inexperienced I would say it is an extremely worrying position to be in…….
