I always signed him on FM. He was a cheap player who became a top signing.

ED001, do you have a favorite FM or CM player?

{Ed001's Note - I never really got the time to play it enough to get a favourite player. I used to love it, but life interefered too much.}

Ed001,

I use the mobile version these days, otherwise I would become addicted to it if I had it on a laptop.

I do remember CM 96/ 97 and editing Scunthorpe Utd and gave them Zidane, Ronaldo etc but forgot to adjust their wages and bankrupted the club.

{Ed001's Note - I have never done the editing thing, never seen the point myself. I used to always start with a lower league team and try to climb the ladder bit by bit. A bit like the old Premier League manager I had on the Amiga back in the day, though more complex.}

Ed001,

I had it on the amiga 500. I remember not all the players were available, it you restarted players like Van Basten and Gullit would some times appear. Brehme was always availabke to buy.

I remember Norwish had Goos and Robbins and were one of the best teams on the game. You could only play 3 non EU players or non UK players in Europe aswell.

{Ed001's Note - do you remember the game Player Manager? The final version was Alex Ferguson's Player Manager and it was brilliant. You had to set up where the players would go when the ball was in each area of the pitch. It was very tactical. I loved that.}
