Kloot
I have just seen your post as I have put off replying to it until today.
What I find ammusing about it is the need to be exact opposite to every one. Almost like a need for attention.
You are even more critical of Clevs than I am but praised all our players for what? Beating Liverpool on posession? Well butter me up and slip in a digit but I thought the point was to win football matches?
We lost by the way! Did you see the full time result or were you just looking on this site to air a view that will cause controversy? If you think what you seen yesterday was in anyway good enough you must have been steaming in the stands.
So many players were so far beyond average we couldn't even muster a proper shot on target until Nani hit one with about ten minutes to go. Corners as woeful as ever, Free kicks not any better, crossing just as bad, Welbeck a pen? Don't think so he fell over and if that was given against us we would be screaming.
Totally ran out of ideas in the whole centre section of the pitch right up to RVP, no wonder he was taking it out on the pool players, he looked a bit Rooney esqe in being frustrated with the sh*te behind him. I find it utterly amazing that our best through ball with all our posession was Hernandez who is renouned for having sh*t passing.
Liverpool played the same way they have in all their games. Score then sit back and counter. We were always going to beat them second half they sat with 2 banks of defense and pressed with the front three and exactly like Chelsea our CM went hiding behind players Clev especially and couldn't create a single thing without using the wings. The movement from the two of them was a digrace to midfielders everywhere. Scared to take a man on, scared to face the play under pressure, scared to move with the ball, jesus christ even Vidic and Rio on more than one occasion were pushed back because they had no options from them never mind the other times where they pumped it long due to the hiding CM that didn't want it.
I watched that game with 2 other Utd fans and 5 Pool fans and I felt like punching the tele umpteen times because it was a disgrace to watch. We were being laughed at. Couldn't string 5 yard passes together, players trying backheels and putting it out, passes behind players, passes going backwards as soon as a pool player was in sight, no leadership, no bravery, no dominance at all!
One pool fan said they wouldn't even have a single player fro our CM even for Henderson. I chuckled but he was being serious.
I wouldn't care if we had pumped them and Mignolet or some amazing defending had saved them or bad misses but we were so depleted of any ideas except move it side to side and use either wing to cross it to the first man or over everyone it was painful to watch.
We need men with courage in that midfield and we have none. 2 months we have known this and so did Moyes and his team yet we have addressed nothing and if anything weakened our team with Giggs starting AGAIN!
Shocking performance, shocking effort by most players and if that is what you call giving effort for the shirt you are already starting to accept mediocrity, and I never thought I would say that of you Kloot.

Jono I felt the exact same way. It was embarrassing and depressing.

Kloot was correct, we were the better side and we were lacking in the final third, leading up to that we were fine.
