This isn't a rumour it's a fact as the source is a really good mate. He was in the company of Moyes agent last week who told him he thought Moyes was out of his depth . Can you believe that? I had to ask him again when he told me. My mate said he couldn't believe what he was hearing. What's that all about?

pancho

1.) Just wanted to add that I am not particularly bothered if people believe me because as I said I know this conversation happened because I knew he was going to be in his company last week . Our mate who arranged this get together is often out with moyes agent through his job . It was a casual conversation with him amongst a small group of people having a beer

{Ed007's Note - Did the agent mention anything about him also being Moyes' brother?}

2.) Good point ed I forgot about that . I do know that he had been out with this guy in the past and I mean before moyes came to us last year. When he came to us it was the first I had seen that his brother was negotiating for him unless this bloke had something to with them but in previous discussions he has just called him his agent So I will clarify it it is wrong I will tell u

3.) Ive just spoke to my mate who told me about it . He said he is involved with the set up with moyes etc - obviously he isn't his brother as this would be obvious if it was him. He has been introduced to him through a mate who I know as well who told me last year about this bloke who said Moyes was leaving Everton early in 2013. He also passed on other info which proved true. He had always called him moyes agent. Like I said this was last Friday in small gathering of peoples about 8 or 9 people . I just thought I would share it as this guy is apparently In the Moyes camp in some capacity . Knowing the people I know this will be true. I'd forgotten about his brother but the other conversations have happened before this season. I just thought it was mad

4.) Whether it turn out to be true, cheers for telling us.

5.) Pancho. Cool story bro!

Moyes will be here for the long haul. Get used to it.

Nice backtracking on the whole agent brother thing aswell. Laughable.

6.) No story mate that's why I said it was not a rumour it's not some bloke in the pub I was speaking to and I wouldn't make something up and post it like a lot of people on here . And it wasn't back tracking I was just checking it out again with my mate. I am local and not speaking from Indonesia or London or any other far flung place It's not all that important really as in someone saying we are buying that player or going to sack him or whatever it was the fact that someone who is in his camp said that he was out of his depth which a lot are fans are starting to feel now. I thought it was mad.

7.) Starting to feel. A lot of us didn't want him as we already knew this

Amazing what bidding a realistic price does in terms of getting a chance to sign a good player as even Arsenal have just found out!

pancho

1.) If United are not in for Ozil an he ends up at Arsenal there must be a reason. I hope its that Rooney is going and that we are in for Mata.

If not and all we get is the Clown from Everton serious questions have to be asked.

2.) I really can't believe we've bid for fabregas but let a player like ozil join arsenal with out fighting to get him, if we end up not signing anyone when a world class midfielder is up for grabs ill question where we're heading

Rumours suggesting we have bid for herrara from and as usual (if correct) he has buy out clause which we have bid below! No surprise there then!

pancho

1.) United is making a Time pass habit in transfer windows to bid just bellow and then not improving it. if selling club agrees later they have another weapon to spoil the deal " don't AGREE TO AGENT FEES".

great strategies. no one can make you spend unless u want to.

2.) Question - Who is this guy Herrara? is any good? worth 36m euros?

I understand everybody is frustrated by the lack of movement for us but I don't think just because someone has a release cause we should automatically pay it!

If this rumour is true we have bid more on this player than we have for Fabregas, Fellaini/Baines - is he better than fabregas? if so why aren't every huge club after him?

3.) From what I understand he was going to be Barcelona's replacement if Fab left

Sky reporting that Madrid may be interested in vidal . That's the risk of leaving it late .

Not related to united but apparently who ever wins tomorrow night will not be given the trophy despite winning it 3 times. They will only be given a gold plated replica. And this is despite there only being space for four more names.

Sanchez has said its great to sign for a club with so many fans all over the world . Does he not realise we are based in the north? Perhaps he thinks he is signing for us!

pancho

1.) I hate this London thing - it's not like elite footballers benefit much from being in London, the major attractions for a young man in London they should not be doing or typically have no interest in if it's cultural. Stupid agents and advisers saying London is where its at because the North is never promoted!

2.) A lot of opinions were he wanted CL football and blew United out

3.) The north is where it's at! They should realise that!

If we only end up with the two signings already done I don't think it will be enough to let woodenhead off the hook because it is obvious LVG wants more. We have bought a player we should have signed last year and wanted to come so not that hard to get done and a left back who despite showing great potential no one else wanted pay that amount for. Not to worry I am sure the shirt deal will be completed soon!

What do people think about what Robbie - hold five fingers up to the stretford end but never won it myself big nose - Fowler has said about Van Gaal being too old. He forgot Fergie was seventy. What an person. Also then said he wasn't saying it because he is a Liverpool fan hoping united would be crap . No one suggested he was until he said it of course. I think his nose got even bigger after he said that .

pancho

1.) He said it because LvG is getting on, it's not like he has the time to build a dynasty like Fergie did, Fergie arrived at 40 years old not 63.

LvG also hasn't achieved much since the 90's which was with a formidable Ajax team, most of who came from the academy.

2.) As opposed to B Rod's stellar list of achievements

3.) Really Plymouth? what about barca and the debuts he's given to the players in the team at the time?

4.) Not achieved much since the 90's? Really? I guess he didn't win the league with AZ then, and he must not of won the league with bayern either? He's won more in the last 6 years than Rodgers has in his life

5.) 17 May 2014 07:45:26
Seems the scousers are running scared already. Lol.

van Gaal, first laid the foundations down for Pep's Barcalona side, he gave debuts to Puyol and Xavi and stuck with them when the press questioned their ability. He helped mould their academy, and it was him who brought back the 433 attacking system that allowed Pep to just tweak it slightly so as Barca could dominate football for that 5 year period.

He then went to AZ and won the league which is the equivelent of winning it in England with Spurs.

He then moved onto Bayern, he gave Muller and Kroos their debuts, he moved Schweinstieger into a holding role which allowed him to fullfil his potential and arguably become the most complete midfielder in the world. He laid down the foundations for this current Bayern side which is now dominating world football.

He managed to set both Barca and Bayern on their way to the very top and he managed to do that with just 2/3 years at each club.

So he may not be the man who will be in charge when when dominate world football in 3/4 years time but it will be because of him and the foundations he has laid at the club.

6.) Plymouth. no one has suggest he will be there for the long run. He is being brought in to sort the team out, and nurture Giggs or possibly someone else, to take over when the hard work is done.
We are all very appreciative of your concern for our plight, I only hope we can return your act of kindness this time next year.
Now come on, cheer us up. Tell us all about Bren's fabulous record of success. (Second isn't success as you lot rightly said when we were second)

7.) Robbie knows that LvG will revitalise United and get them back into the top 4 at least - and potentially knock Liverpool out of top 4 again.

No wonder he thinks we should've given Giggs a chance!

8.) I don't believe we should be constantly looking for a dynasty in every manager anyway. Whilst van Gaal isn't my first choice he is a very strong choice. As Shappy mentioned he is a builder and a shaper of football clubs. Unlike last May when he is put in charge there will be no doubt about his credentials, stature or gravitas. I would have gone for Klopp but perhaps he will be the manager after this one. I don't subscribe to the sentiment of Giggs after van Gaal unless we are very sure he really is good enough and that will be very difficult to ascertain.
As to Fowler, well the Scousers I know wanted the last incumbent to stay for years so by that logic van Gaal is an excellent choice. He will build and shape us for the future and I can bet the Scouse are now worried we will do what they did this season without European football. I think it will be van Gaal and I would welcome his appointment

9.) Didn't expect anything else from a bias Plymouth Liverpool fan who should be more interested in his own site but as usual is on here anxiously awaiting something to comment on. Can't even get his Spanish waiter facts right.

10.) LvG hasn't been brought in to build a 20 year dynasty.

He is a proven quality stop-gap brought in to settle the ship.

He will implement a style that Giggs will continue after LvG is gone.

Just another excuse for the glazers to say no value in the market we need to pay what it takes if we really want a player . Someone else will eventually .

I agree with what you have said Redman . Our build up at is very slow and catious scared to give the ball away until that Evans incident. I still think we look disjointed at times . With scousers looking strong we could miss out on top four .

I would take what Rene says with a pinch of salt . He is just still trying to say how great he was and it was really him who did everything under Fergie. He is full of it !
