To extend a hand our faithful rivals.

I sincerely congratulate the families of the 96. Finally justice is but a short time away.

I hope those accountable pay severely for the heartache and tears they have caused with their undeniably atrocious cover up attempts and their failures to protect the fans on the day.

From one Red to another I hope you never walk alone.

So it looks like the press have finally caught up or on which ever way you want to read it.

"Paris St-Germain manager Laurent Blanc is a contender to take over at Manchester United this summer - and would keep Ryan Giggs as his assistant. (Sun) "

Seriously. did i not say this a few days ago?

The moment the PSG - "not so special one" rumour came up again this should have been doing the rounds.

here's to a FA Cup and a 4th place finish. all we have to do is winn our remaining games and hope city/ arsenal game is won by either side. a draw is not a good outcome for us.

Monk,

What if Southampton beat City this weekend between the 2 Madrid games? Really wouldn't surprise me.

2.) 26 Apr 2016 11:35:33
All we have to do is win our remaining games.

Considering the maximum amount of games we've won back to back is 3 it doesn't inspire confidence that well win 6 on the bounce (previous two games and next 4)

Also we struggled to win back to back games for about 5 months this season.

If we are to finish in the top 4 were going to need city and arsenal to drop a lot more than two points in my opinion.

Ok. So done to death however upon reaidng the latest "Not so Special one" News. It would appear PSG are after him.

So my question to all is. Where is Blanc off too? Would you not fancy him taking the reigns?

And of course the customary question. Ed's any and all what do you think/ know

Cheers

{Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out, this is old news and not happening and Blanc is set to stay now.}

1.) 20 Apr 2016 13:23:10
Because their first choice "Mourinho" is unavailable 😉.

2.) 20 Apr 2016 13:01:47
Ed,

But it can't be, sky sources said it so it must be true.

Laurent Blanc to United was on offer as a bet on the skybet website this morning, sure that is a coincidence too.

{Ed001's Note - what a coincidence huh?}

3.) 20 Apr 2016 15:12:57
Hang on I just put £1 on blanc next United manager! The offer was to good. Are u now telling me my £1 bet is not a sure bet.

4.) 20 Apr 2016 16:24:44
I am still paying off the debt from when we signed Gundogan last summer.

{Ed001's Note - hahaha good ole Slybet, never one to mislead punters in conjunction with their TV channels!}

Games will likely begin again just after the peak has hit as by that point we will have a majority of herd immunity to the virus so safe to play.

sounds daft but the fit healthy players should be actively seeking to contract the virus and immediately self isolate until free form spreading it to family members.

this would be the same for the support staff who are not considered "high risk".

At the end of the day the majority of the population is set to get it. the rich young healthy folk are most likely to not have ill recompense form the virus.

Its the older gen and those with high blood pressure and other such underlying health issues. (Like myself with chronic bronchitis and Asthma )

Seriously WTF is wrong with you whiney sods!

Ole made it clear - He is rebuilding from the bottom up and it is an ongoing project.

You lot talk about him as though he is doing a terrible job. Look at the players he has, at the players he has to do the job without due to injuries.

The squad has been neglected for years with stupid" need right now! " players who are brought in on the short term stupid wages and ultimately fell out with the manager we had at the time.

The club lost it's identity completely - on and off the pitch. Players had no connection to the club. Here just for the wage not for the love of the club and fans.

I get most players are mercenaries however i would take a mercenary who wants to be adored by the fans regardless of the club they play for over one who is there just to pick up a wage and appear to be making an effort.

So far Ole has brought back some identity on the pitch, the club feels in a better place despite not always getting the results we want.

The signings made under Ole have been good value and are well above average.

Some one above said we cannot play like we did under SAF as players are "More Technical". Sorry don't get it.

You can play as we did previously so long as you have the ability breakdown sides when they don't allow for a counter attacking play. Pretty sure we had that under SAF as we did not always play using counter attack as our only style of play.

If you mean to say it is more difficult to do so then of course however that doesn't mean we cannot have our own "more technical" players finding alternative routes to getting the goals we need.

Every club has gone through a period of rebuild. If we want success we must do it right not "Right now! "

The constant manager merry go round is a joke.

We committed to a rebuild - it's going ok for now and we are seeing progress on the pitch and behind the scenes.

As long as things continue in the right direction then sit back take the hits and enjoy the wins.

P. s Signings are key. We should have a good mix of young talent and experienced 27+ players to provide wisdom and stability.

Oh and Artur Vidal. HELL NO! Very bad influence. Not the kind of player we want at the club. agression on the pitch yeah but the guy is reckless.

Mario Gotze, Eriksen, Kroos etc yes

Gotze - 27 and contract ending - worthy of a shot as is capable of being excellent.

Holy mother of yellow bellied cowards is this rubbishzen?

Ole has a very difficult job of rebuilding pretty much an entire team against the backdrop of a useless player acquisition manager a. k. a Woodward. A bunch of "we want it now, spit my dummy out whiny bugger" Fans.

You need Youth players brought through to keep the heart of the club, you need experienced players to coach and guide these young players whilst out on the pitch.

You need stable Manager and coaching staff to create consistency.

We have not been right since SAF retired. We have tried pretty much everything but what OLE is trying to do. All else has failed.

We were told this plan will take time to implement and to come to fruition. 1 year is not enough. 2 - 3 years should be when you start seeing some solid success. Success breeds success. Youth players seeing a club that supports their youth will be more happy to join our ranks, experienced players seeing a club that prides themselves on their experienced players molding their youth so aren't just their for a quick fix.

A truly stable team rarely needs to panic buy, rarely needs to pay well over the odds just to encourage a player to come to them.

Patience people. Honestly people have Zero staying power these days. Yes the club is "privately owned" and they want a return however sometimes you just have to wait for it like everyone else.

The glaziers already make millions on our identity and existing fan base. Allowing the actual club to rebuild is just good business since it will create a stable business.

bah so annoyed at the lack of faith out there at the minute.

Hi All,

on the South stand situation.

The land is owned by the railway as is the bridge/ walkway from Railway road into the stadium.

I have friends who live on Railway road and they have not been contacted by anyone with regards to selling up.

In fact Jay (the City Fan) lives on the right of the bridge some 4-7 doors down (not giving his address. lol)

His place would be one of the houses directly impacted by development.

He'd been previously advised regrading the improvements when they were first put up for public review. although the extension would encompass the actual railway the physical building would be bridged over to form a covered station/ platform. It wouldn't require any of the houses to be bought unless it is found to cause irreparable damage to the property through ground disturbance.

Sunlight and shade is said to be of concern however due to the angle of the road they would still get a lot of light in the rear gardens.

Holy Mother of God. i never once thought i'd ever see this nor ever wanted to this such crap.

We are Manchester UNITED fans not bloody CITY fans.

Why oh why are you all so bloody down all the time. we are in the middle of a massive transition period for the club and the team. Yes things are not going as we'd hoped but for the love of all that is RED. get behind the team accept that we have little impact on the clubs decisions because we are in capable of grouping together to take a stand and just get on with it. Stop being so BITTER>>>

Get some positivity in your lives people. Chant shout scream at the team let them know you are with them not against them.

Leicester aren't where they are through mountains of cash being blown on the team but through great leadership and support.

LGV is not here forever and he's no Moyes but he is doing OK ish. especially since he's bringing through the youth and not just a random game here and there.

. stopping myself. Rant over

RED and Proud until the day i die come rain (LVG) Storm (Moyes) or shine (? )
