Good Morninf EDs,

BBC sport gossip column reporting today that we have put a bid in for Neres. is there any truth behind this that you know of or is it BS?

Cheers.

Atletico and United interested in Neres I remember reading.

was reading Memphis had a bust up in training with RVP at the weekend. I know its nothing new as far as the dutch are concerned just hope that this doesn't happen with him when he's training with Utd.

best case is RVP was telling him to up his game for utd but somehow doubt it!

RVP is toxic

2.) 13 Oct 2015 09:28:11
I wouldn't be surprised if RVP was in acres of space and Depay tried to do it all himself losing the ball.

The Dutch national team fall out for a past time. The fact that they are struggling atm will bring out the worst in them. That was one of my concerns with LvG, I wondered if he would bring in several Dutch players and with them that very issue. Real Madrid had the same problem several years ago when they had RvN, Robben, Sneijder, RvdV and Drenthe. They got rid of all of them over a couple of summers because of the issues they were causing.

As for Memphis having a spat with RvP, I think neither party could be called innocent in that situation. Both have potential attitude problems.

I am more concerned with how Memphis plays and behaves within the Manchester United team and dressing room.

Giggs has had a word with him and told him he needs to focus his energies on the pitch and in training more than off the pitch which he seems to be doing atm. My worry with him was that his head could become too big for his shoulders, at PSV he had a couple of key men in the background keeping him grounded and focused. Move him away from that, and especially toward the bright lights and media circus that is the Premier league and there was always a risk he could have his head turned. Hopefully Giggs has managed to bring him round.

The fact that it was Giggs who spoke to him rather than LvG who obviously knows him better is significant. Normally the manager gives the player the pep talk and the assistant manager puts his arm around the player. I think they may have thought it better that an ex-player especially one with Giggs standing speaking to him and giving him a friendly nudge was a better way of dealing with it. It is a fascinating insight into the dressing room.

Tooney isn't fit to lead the line. Really hope we sign a striker as he offers nothing! Romero should of saved both goals IMO. Hope this is the kick up the backside LVG needs to realise we need a striker.

I think he knows we need one we're just struggling to get one in.

2.) 30 Aug 2015 17:35:24
Rooney I mean of course not Tooney. He's class!

3.) 30 Aug 2015 17:43:32
How far have we come since Moyes? Sorry LvG but you are not the man to make Manchester, UNITED again.

4.) 30 Aug 2015 17:52:55
He stopped moving in the box today. He can't do it against good opposition it seems, just minnows like Bruge or Preston - we need more at this level because we don't create enough.

Romero the liability we all knew he was.

Back to launch fest.

Very disappointing.

5.) 30 Aug 2015 18:02:20
Agree with Rooney. Too slow. Too uncertain. Poor touch and movement. Today's loss was entirely down to him. He gave the ball away leading to the first goal and failed to take advantage of his opportunities when he had them. He wants to many touches.

I can't blame Romero for the first goal, but the second was pretty pathetic.

When we go down we have very few options. Memphis isn't a game changer yet. No speed on the right. No CF. It's hard to see this squad being in the top 4 come the end of the season.

I'm with the Beast. Wake me up next year. I'm kinda wishing i was a Crystal Palace supporter. That looks like fun.

CTR i'm sure from speaking before you said your a cambridge lad. Staff are great at the Rosie and assuming your there your son is in the best possible care.

my best wishes are with you

MS85

1.) I'm a Cambs lad too,
If CTR's lad is at the Rosie then he is in extremely good hands.

All the best pal.

Whats happening with Januzaj? is he likely to sign a contract with us? the daily fail are saying talks have stalled.

MS85

1.) It's a contract negotiation. I'm not sure what the hold up is? I think it may be playing time, but I'm not sure. I think he's good enough to go straight into the side. He's a very good talent and we need to agree a deal.

2.) Do you think he will sign Syd? I just hope his head isn't turned to much by big money offers. he seems a top talent and one we really need to keep hold of.

3.) I don't see why he is not getting playing time, he is much better then young and Nani atm and if Moyes insists on using 2 wide payers why not play Januza. We have already seen his glimpses of his quality so far this season so I am quite confused as to why he is not playing.

4.) Your guess is as good as mine. Moyes says Adnan wants to stay, but if that's true he will sign a new deal.

5.) My worry is that he sees our current situation and wonders if he shouldn't to looking to sign elsewhere. Let's hope not.

6.) I don't like the look of this. I genuinely think Januzaj will leave next summer. Personally, I think it's probably a 50/50 split between wanting to play every game and not liking what he sees at OT right now.

We need to play him as much as possible and open the wallet to show the kid that, if he stays, he won't be disappointed.

7.) Red_ SKY

Its all about money and certain playing privileges I would assume. No player not at his age can demand from any top club to be playing every game and neither should they.

Is Ivan Toney being considered at all? think he'd be a good signing and would make a huge difference to our forward line.

For me abroad is Ajax as them winning the CL in the 90s is one of my first football memories and I find their style of football to be the best to watch. Been a few times tonwatxh them and love the atmosphere in the stadium too.

Lower league is my local team Cambridge United. Not the best by a long shot but evening games with mates are a good crack.

drawing there when Blackburn won the league was one of the worst days of my childhood. I really hope we take it to them tonight and play them off the park.
