Great game from martial today, hopefully he kicks on. Looked like he had a point to prove today.

Agreed. He was absolutely electric and looked like the Martial of last season. Hopefully this gives him some confidence because on his day he can be such a difference maker.

How bad was van persie tonight? Imo he's finished
1.) Mata, Januzaj and RVP simply not good enough.
2.) RVP & Mata have done the bare minimum for so long it is beyond a joke. They epitomize "reputation misleading", scoring a few goals as an attacking player for Man Utd shouldn't excuse nominal contributions.

4.) Disappointing more for januzaji that was he's chance, regarding mata game passed him by not a 40 million player anyway
5.) He is neat and tidy but is slow and weak in the tackle on the rare occasion he musters up the bottle to tackle. That only compounds the problems for the defence. Herrera looked poor hopefully just due to match fitness but how did we opt for him out of all the midfielders out there. Need to play falcao up front by himself with a pact midfield of carrick, fellani and blind.
6.) I agree falcoa up top rvp looks like he doesn't want to be there anymore. Other than di Maria we are seriously lacking pace I think mata would shine in spain or Italy, mourinho was spot on selling mata he slows the game right down
7.) Always said mata is a luxury we can't afford. I think mourinho must have laughed all the way to the bank. Mata is completely ineffective and I don't see what he brings to the team.
As for januzaj, he's young and I think he needs to re focus and maybe a loan period might do him good.

I’d sack him let carrick have till end of season give players a lift bring some confidence back anything is better than this .
