I wouldn't worry AllgoneRom, the papers have no idea. We may sign a new CB, we may not. It will depend on if the manager feels we need one. I don't think signing Sancho will change anything. He'd fill the RW position nicely and there will still be funds for a CB if needed.
I laughed last week when the press reported a £100m fee for Sancho. TalkSport managed to fill a whole show with that story, which on here we know to be complete rubbish.

Ed already mentioned that Ruben Diaz is our primary target. Skriniar, Koulibaly are other defenders we hold interest.

Militao has joined Real Madrid so he’s one we can cross off.
It will be interesting to watch Zidane (this time around) as it looks like he will build what will be known as his team (despite the obvious influences from above) rather than managing a team of stars he inherited.
