So reports emerged last night that Marco Verratti wants to bin his agent and go with Mino Raiola and then this morning we've apparently held talks with Marco Verrattis representatives
Who didn't see that coming.

Veratti and kroos are my perfect idea of a no6 playmaker. Its not the way jose normally goes he usually pregers a destructive defencive no 6. There are lots of ways of playing the no6 role.
I would pay for veratti what we paid for pogba no issue.
Id also swap perisic for martial in a heartbeat. don't get me wrong i like martial i think he will be a top player but not under jose i feel.
If we sign perisic martial will be 2nd or 3rd choice on the left or 3rd choice cf. So i'd swap him for perisic and invest the dier / matic and perisic cash all on veratti if necessary .
However i'm sure its the papers making up crap and putting 2 and 2 together and getting 22. I am sure ed002 has said veratti does not want the epl and only wants barcalona. But if its on i'd pursue him to the fullest. Let PSG have sanchez and couthino and us have veratti that would be ideal 😂.

Ken. Here we all make mistake mostly. MARTIAL was bought as striker. As no batter winger was available he was deployed there. Now when he can't perform there people brand him as flop. But how many games at a strech he got as Rashford as striker. Without being deployed here and there. He is a striker. Or bought as a striker at least.

I agree mostly ideally I'd want perisic for now but if Martial where to go I'd only be happy if it was a loan Martial oozes potential so I think it would be a mistake to get rid completely.
As for putting 2 + 2 together and getting 22 is quite correct I'm more of a putting 2 + 2 together and getting 5 kind of person 😂.

I'd go for Sanchez before I'd go for perisic, that whole transfer now is a bit of a toothache.
The good thing about Sanchez is we already know what he can do in the premiership.

Rodio you are entitled to your opinion i think he will do elsewhere but imo i don't see him ever playing consistently for jose. They have polar oppisite personalities. We only play 1 striker and martial is 3rd choice at best. I said the same about adnan after his 1st 3 months and repeated it here for 3 years. I got slated then too. Its just my opinion.

Would love that Dave but I'll be extremely happy with matic.
Also perisic is a very very good player. As a winger I'd much prefer him to most as he hugs the touchline and will get countless assists.
Sanchez is a dream but IMO plays better centrally, we have plenty in those positions already.
