Nelson Semado has just joined Barca. Really hoped we'd have signed him. Looks to be a really good player. Just wondering if United have anyone else lined up as after listening to the Sharkopod it sounded pretty clear he was our number 1 target for Right back. Thanks as always.

I am disappointed, I was very high on Semedo. Now, after accepting the fact, I think we must wait and see what Jose's plans are for the right back position down the road. We all know the situation with Valencia, who is a good professional. I am curious to see what Jose has in mind for Fosu-Mensah. He has a lot of raw talent, and I hopeful that he will get his chance this year to get some games under his belt.

Is Aurier even allowed to enter the UK? I thought I read that his visa was revoked or something.

Airier would be a solid signing and I'm sure Jose would make sure he behaves while here. That's probably the biggest issue with him. There's no doubting his talent. I'm guessing that's why PSG are letting him go.

£26 million WTF if United have agreed a deal it would have been for £40m at least. Teams take advantage of us way too much and if he went there for that fee it was obvious he wanted to play for Barcelona not us.

If all the reports about Aurier are true then we should stay very clear of him. Stories suggest a hot temper in and off the field, plus a maverick regard to authority as well as a pending conviction of assaulting a police officer.
Jose likes players who go about a specific job without wuestionning it or adding their own opinion (look what happened to Herrera. ) plus I think SA would be a negative influence on the players already there (was that a factor in PSG's decline last year? )
I'd much rather keep Valencia as main RB for another year while another RB is identified, either from inside or outside the club. TFM is a great defender but maybe not so much the attacking FB JM wants; there's something about Darmian JM not sure about - maybe there's another youngster coming up?
For me, Fabinho would be the best option as he can cover several positions also. Trouble is, there seems a dearth of quality FBs now and things will start to move quickly, what with Walker, Semedo and Alves moving, as top clubs search for reinforcements.

Aurier is a beast of a player, he needs to delete his social media accounts though. It's a signing with risk but if Jose can get his head in the right place he has the ability to be one of the best players in the world at RB.
