Just read on liverpool site that utd have bid more than 75mn for mbappe, so have we given up on griezmann?

{Ed002's Note - This is not a new bid. It was a question raised in an interview today and Vadim Vasilyev gave the reason that the bid was rejected as their wanting to keep him. So there is nothing new.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Thnks ed002, i hope we do try and sign him.

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United have tried but are aware that Monaco don't want to sell and it would take a far higher offer to induce them to sell. The player wants to move to Real madrid but is aware that he could end up on the subs bench if he were to move this summer.}

Personally i think he should stay where he is. Perhaps Monaco will lose a couple It looks like tielmans is coming in who will be a good replacement for bakayoko or fabhino should they leave.
He would be well advised to spend the next 12 months learning how to replicate the brilliant movement of falcao. He will get the move of his choice next summer after the world cup if he continues to develop.

{Ed002's Note - They are willing to lose a couple and Bakayoko will certainly be one. They could be enticed to lose more by enormous offers of course.}

Is it just me, or would others prefer we didn't sign players who have obviously got there hearts set on a move to Madrid, Barcelona etc? Yes we had a very good ronaldo for a few years but we still haven't replaced him with anyone good enough in my eyes, other than a young guy who is already coming through our own youth ranks anyway.

Rather than sign an Mbappe who obviously wants to be elsewhere, I'd rather pay an extortionate fee for someone like Kane. He's probably not as good as Mbappe will be, but he is a genuine goal scorer, and worth his weight in gold going by this seasons goal shy showing. He'd probably not look to move abroad at any point so we'd get more than our money's worth. We missed out on shearer when he would have been great for us, I think Kane could be the same kind of player.

Highly unlikely, but I'd rather try for him than Mbappe.

To me Mbappe is potentially another martial cost a lot n be inconsistent at a better level let's be honest the French league isn't the best he is good but not proven over a few seasons i'd stay away from paying stupid money for him!

I would agree with you Brendan about Kane. Pay what's needed and he will be here 10 years. Guaranteed goals and can play a bit unlike Lukaku for example for me.

I disagree with brendan when you sae Mbappe is better then kane not at the moment kane scoring in a much better league over 3 seasons consistently scores all types of goals all round attacker for me perfect for a united number 9! Just never going to get levy to agree to sell him let alone Tottenham!

Statezz I said as good as Mbappe 'will' be. Kane is better currently, but more experienced. I think Mbappe will be better in the end, but I'd take Kane if offered a choice.
