Rumours today We might be interested in Ox Chamberlain as Mourinho wanted him at Chelsea last year . moreover Ox will hand a transfer request if we show interest in him . I would replace Lingard all day. Eds?

I really like him, can play a few key roles. Looked great as CM recently as well. Hope it happens.

I'd sign him because he can play two roles very well, he is quick and attack minded. English as well, real work horse. If one of our midfielders is missing at the minute we either stick Rooney in there or Fellaini, we lose all dynamism and frankly we could do with more energy in there anyway. Ox can play as a wide man as well and would be suitable cover for both sides or even push for a regular starting berth (especially with Miki's injuries and Martial's inconsistent form) .
In my mind he is the type of squad player we should be signing, rather than the likes of Lingard and Januzaj who would be lucky to be regulars for mid-table teams. Somebody that adds something different and helps with home grown, anything less than £30m and I'd do it.
We have more pressing things to fix, but if he is available I'd snap their hands off.

With a squad full of dross, why not sign another, if we can beat Bayern and Barcelona to his signature.

Only makes sense if Lingard, Fellaini and perhaps Mata leave.
I think we do need to look at quicker players not pace but play. Eg Pogba can sometimes slow play by not moving the ball quickly.
Ox will do that and be a worker.
Also injury prone or is that just an Arsenal thing?
