Hi eds with jose latest comments regarding our captain do you have any insight into him leaving for China before the end of Feb?

I doubt Rooney knows where China is. Fortune cookie always wrong?

Papers are going nuts, Rooney offered 35 mil a year, he will quit if not picked at the weekend . bit extreme moving your family to China for 3 year because you don't get picked for a game.
It was the same in January before the English transfer window shut, but it sells .
Rooney twitted today great to be back with the boys training . Sounds like he is on the move.

to be fair rooney hasn't made any significant movements for some time now.

Can't see him leaving mid season and to suggest he will go to China if he is not picked at the weekend sounds like nonsense to me.
He doesn't need the money and he will have more attractive footballing options in the summer. They may well not have the same financial offer as China but you would think that is not his primary concern at this stage of his life.
Staying at United in a bit part role may not be attractive to him but he might just want to see it his contact and move on a free after kicking his heels in the bench for a year or so.
Does he still think he can get into tyne England squad for the world cup? Will be achieve that sitting on the bench at United.
He is at a crossroads and will have decisions to make but I don't think he will make any major decision before the summer and Jose says he won't be forced or the door but he won't be in the team if he has his first choice 16 available to him that is clear.

There's no way Rooney spends the rest of his contract sat on the bench, all he's wanted to do is play football.

The opportunity to re-join Everton has probably passed him by now that Koeman is in charge so his options are really limited.

His team around him probably want him to move to the states as he will continue to earn a bucket load there and will be one of the best players in the league. China is surely too much of a barrier for him.

Lazy journalism for me.

If he goes anywhere I'd imagine the US. I think he's got some property out there.

Il tell you something, I could care less for the rubbish papers write at times but hats off too Wayne Rooney, he's handled not being a key figure this year with the upmost professionalism something I honestly didn't think he was capable of, I thought the toys would of been thrown out the pram but couldn't be more opposite. well done wazza and good luck for whatever you're career future holds.

Straw that breaks the elephants back missing Sunday.

I think he'll go and i wouldn't blame him. It's time, but he won't like China. He won't move the family over either imo, so he will be lonely as hell. Back by the Summer playing for Everton or Tranmere.

23 Feb 2017 16:23:15
He has to make the bench now with miki and Carrick out.

23 Feb 2017 17:01:01
Jose has said he still hasn't started full training.

23 Feb 2017 23:26:34
I heard the Chinese have offered him a free bottle of fanta when he buys a starter and a main. so my guess is he will be off to china.

I can see why you guys can't see Rooney in China since he's such a lad, but "he doesn't need the money" might underestimate the kind of money we're talking about. Even rich men could still aspire to be wealthy. and yes, there's a big difference between being rich and being wealthy.
