Ed I'm assuming this is complete rubbish before I even ask, however, there are some rumours today that we are looking at Patrice Evra?
Apparently to solve our issues at left back which I wasn't aware we had since we're very well covered in that position. The only reason I can think of is additional cover since Darmian may be moving although Semedo looks to be the target for that?

Its based off Rio's twitter and everyone assumes stuff. Apparently its a coaching role next season.

He could teach Luke Shaw a thing or two about how to look after yourself as a professional athlete.

I would take him back for 6 months, just like Ibra with rashford, shaw could learn from him for the rest of the season before he moves into a coaching role, who better for shaw to learn from than one of (if not) uniteds best left back.

Coaching role yes, playing no. We sold him when it was the right time to do so. The pace of the PL was leaving us and him vulnerable. Loved him while he was here, but can't come back other than as a coach for me.

I would give him a try ed, personally, but maybe my heart rules my head on that one. He was a very good full back and we have been a bit short in that department for some time. Can't see it doing any harm having someone with Evra's experience around the place.
{Ed002's Note - Typically Mr Mourinho would not have random ex-players coaching anywhere near the first team simply for sentimental reasons. Downhill from there.}

Its funny why people would love to invite old players back as coaches, just to have them round like a sentimental thing.
Evra isn't someone going to be drafted in to coach left back, its laughable even considering it.
If he comes back he will be playing, because Jose thinks he can do a job simple as that.

Wouldn't have evra near the coaching unless he proved himself in that department first.
