hey eds/ all,
ed001/ ed002 if ye are about and get a chance to reply what options are united looking at regarding possible incomes and outgoings in january? thanks ed001 for letting us know about guedes and van dijk, do united see these players as viable options? have ye any idea what jose was talking about after the swansea game? thanks guys.
{Ed001's Note - only thing I was told new, other than those two options, which are felt as viable for the summer, but highly unlikely in January, was regarding Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Mamadhou Sakho.
Borthwick-Jackson's loan move to Wolves is not going well, there were discussions about bringing him back in January, but it all got put on hold until the club have time to see how the new manager, Paul Lambert, deals with him. I am told Jose did not want to bring him back, he wants to buy a left back. I am trying to find out the possibles. Mourinho does not see Borthwick-Jackson as anywhere near ready for the first team.
The other new thing is that it was floated as an idea of picking up Sakho from Liverpool in January. It was seen as a short term option, just to see the club through the season, but it was rejected out of hand. It does reinforce that the club are clearly looking for a partner for Bailly as a priority.}

What happened to him? Attitude problems or just not as good as he was hyped to be? For PSG to sell a French international inalways had my doubts.

We often get misty eyed about young players. If they're not good enough Jose will a spot it and act upon it.

Shame that, he looked like a real talent in his few appearances under LVG, hopefully he can get another loan and prove himself or Lambert gets thebest out of him.

I watched him last week. He was pretty average still looks a bit light weight. He needs to improve. Lambert is a decent coach he might improve under him over next 6 months.
