Rooney has fell out with Mourinho and wants to leave in January.
The argument started after the Fenerbache game when Mourinho told Rooney he wasn't doing enough as captain. [Sport]

I really think we should not worry about this but support Jose clearing out the not up-to-standard players especially those who does not show passion and/ or commitment.
Firstly they are paid tons and yet play worse than the juniors but still want to throw their weight around. I believe SAF wanted Roo out for a reason and good as he WAS we should not be held ransom by anyone; not Roo, not Ibrahim and certainly not even Pogba. Look at Carrick! He is the great example of a captain material who does his job and NEVER heard him ever bitch about anything. He inspires people and even fans and has no airs about him. I'd rather hold on to him than Roo or Ibra tbh.
Jose should take this chance and really be focus and already be plotting assault on next season's title. He should really invite Scholes to discuss inputs or maybe be the person to replace that WJ. Hope Jose can humble himself to do just that. It would make him a better person.

Yes he played well yesterday, but one game at this level in 3 months just doesn't cut it for me. He is over the hill and represents the past rather than the future.
