It seems James Rodriguez has put his house up for rent and is house hunting in Manchester. Get the feeling he will be our 'Galactico' signing this summer but isn't really what we need. I do like him but I don't think he is necessary.
Also Embolo is going to Germany and a bid for Sane has been put in along side City and Bayern so that is a no go.
Finally do you think we told Zlatan we don't want him if he goes to the Olympics?

I hope we are in for James! And with Zlatan maybe, when he was announcing his retirement he looked very upset and like he didn't want to retire from international and was being made to!

All good rumours, hence why they have gone on the rumour page, I imagine paragraphs 1 and 2 are 'red top' stories, the whole house hunting thing comes out about any player we are linked with, can take it with a pinch of salt.
I think the whole Zlatan to the Olympics thing was a nonsense story and he was never likely to go, he has never gone before has he? So why now suddenly.

i thought exactly the same thing about zlatan.
he seemed to make it very clear that he will not take part in the Olympics which made me wonder if we have put a stop to it?!

I don't know how he isn't what we need a world class number 10 the more world class players we get the better its a squad game remember.
If we get rodriguez zlatan and the boy from dortmund then we will have a formidable squad for next season.

I'd take James but his poor form means his price is a risk. If he can get going though then we potentially have the best player in the League.

If we get James to me it signifies two things.
1. Mata might be leaving Jose rates James he was his regular no. 10 at Madrid.
2. Jose doesn't see Rooney as a number 10 rather as a box to box midfielder or deep lying playmaker. Please let this not start another wazza debate it's just a humble opinion.
I wouldn't like it if we brought in james and shoehorned him to the right. If that's the case no way Jose.

I don't see James coming in to be honest unless Woodward wants to make a statement. If he did then I hope that we play him where he is most effective which is just behind the striker.
However to think that next year we could have a 4231 with the front line of Zlatan with Martial - James - Mkhitaryan very excited if they all perform.

You mean Jose made it very clear, he was just saying the right stuff to us fans and probably the club. Letting us know what we want to hear.
Only throughout the whole season will we know how and if Mourinho will take on the United ways and have the youth system implicated in the first team.
But Rashford is different class, the next team will be built around him I'm sure.

Rashford is still a young lad and the one thing Jose does best is protecting his players from undue pressure the boy is class he'll get his chances but he is not ready to shoulder the team's expectations at least not yet.

Zlatan has one of the biggest egos in world football, if he wanted to go to the Olympics he would have. A lot of athletes have pulled out due to Zika fears so it could be that, or maybe he just doesn't fancy it, either way I'm sure if he wanted to go he would.
Also James isn't a player I would like to sign, never seen him have a good game since the World Cup, he's more of a luxury signing than what we really need.
