Yeah I believe he will be a great addition and we reportedly turned vardy down (which I'm glad about) as Mourinho doesn't want to hinder rashfords development. The man who doesn't play youth.

I'd of been gutted to sign Vardy, he will be an expensive flop at Arsenal.
Only good playing on the shoulder in a counter attacking system. Not suited to them at all.
It's the going to be the biggest name coming into the League too which is always nice to boast.

Totally agree with you fresh. Vardy is going to flop at arsenal. Vardy plays the counter attack style imo. don't think hell do well in england either. didn't understand why drinkwater did not get selected. Vardy needs him to play his potential i think.

Fresh perhaps there will be a change of emphasis on moving the ball forward more quickly at arsenal.
I think he will do well there. He makes great runs and ozil makes great passes.

I think vardy will score plenty for Arsenal. They've been crying out for a finisher for years and vardy is one. To say he can only play on the counter attack is ridiculous. But in glad we turned the chance to sign him down. Let's see what rashford can turn into! Ibra to take the burden of goals for the next 12 months and also help rashford's development.

Sure glad we are not interested. Respect what he had achieved through hard work but he is not a world class CF imo.

Vardy was offered to United? Would that have been because he wanted a move to OT or do you think United/ Mourinho wanted to be in the loop if Vardy became available?
Interesting to know how and why Vardy was offered to us. Even if Rashford wasn't coming through, I still wouldn't want Vardy!

I really don't agree that zlatan will put the fear of god into prem defenders. He's 34 years old and has been playing in a really poor league let's not forget. Already had one really expensive flop in falcao and look how excited everyone was when he signed. He will sell a few shirts for sure but at his age I just can't see him setting premier league alight.
