{Ed001's Note - the club are about to sort out the managerial situation and there has been talks with Mendes over Mourinho. So there is a lot of truth. You would have to expect it to happen, as he is so keen on the job. Until he is being paraded by the club, you never really know for sure though.}

Is it possible that Mendes is trying to force woodward's hand? Woodward is known for dilly dallying, perhaps Mendes is making his decision up for him. If Mourinho wanted the job then wouldn't a big story which negated/ the fa cup win and in turn let Van Gaal know that United were looking for a replacement, back everyone into a corner where the only possible outcome was Mourinho becoming the United manager. The man earns his money, that's for sure.
