Today's papers are reporting;
Mourinho to join in the summer and get a £300m kitty. He's also asked the board to sell Mata and Fellaini.

I would imagine there is an element of truth in the Mourinho rumours as too many reporting it for there to not be, but the nonsense about who he is going to sell is very lazy journalism. He sold Mata at Chelsea so easy to make up that story and Fellaini has failed to impress at United and most would be happy to see him go.

I think there is too much being reported about Mourinho for none of it to be true. Some of it will be true - it is conjecture to report who he will sell and buy though at this stage. Certain rumours make sense, but that's probably how they came about: Varane and Morata being the main two.
There are a number of things I think he would do with certain players in the squad. Mata has a decent chance of staying, he works much harder now but he wouldn't be our first choice number 10 over Rooney. Fellaini would be gone for sure thank god - hopefully for a £100 million to China. I think Smalling would keep his place, Shaw was a target of Mourinho and would still be wanted. Darmian too. I also could see Jones being turned into an Ivanovic-esq right back - very similar player and may make him less injury prone being slightly more out of the line of fire.
Schneiderlin would be mourinho's type of player. Herrera similar to Cesc and would be used. Jose also gets the most out of the older players, this has been seen wherever he has been: Rooney and Schweinsteiger here. Martial would be key also but we would need a strong number 9 up front. And a new right sided player.

no.7 i think felliani could actually be some one mourinho would keep, while he is not your great pass and move midfielder he is actually a very effective player if used in certain ways, he could be mou's bruiser of sorts and i think some one like jones is in more risk of bieng sold given his injury problems and i would be worried if i were depay or januzaj for both have shown lack of defensive effort whenever given chances and something mourinho's expects from his team is tracking back unless you are an absolute worldclass player like ronaldo.

I think Memphis and Adnan would be given time. Similar players to Hazard and Oscar.

Mourinho apparently wanted Stones, Pogba and Griezmann the form the basis of Chelsea's team but wasn't backed in the market to do so. If he comes in I'd like to see him buy some younger players like the aforementioned in the positions we need. The youth development aspect of Mourinho is the only bit I don't like.

I think there are a number of players that suit the mourinho style in the squad and some that don't.
Expect the intensity of play to go up and the front line (probably main striker with 3 behind) to be interchangeable in there positions and work hard.
I can see Martial, Harera and Rooney thriving. mata unfortunately may be tarnished by previous ideas of mourinho.
Schneiderlin could be our Matic with someone alongside him.
stones would be high on his list along with Verane.
We need to embrace whoever comes in as manager until a point results and playare uunacceptable.

It wouldn't be surprising to see him move for those three again if he likes them. I think one of Varane, Laporte or Stones will be a target. We will take the best deal probably or just the one that accepts. Pogba would be tough to get, Griezmann would be a great move. Morata would be another good player that could be a target.

I think this is turning into a circus every tabloid saying mourinho our next manager if it's true then the club should announce it instead of van Gaal having a brainy with the press when they question him about it because he seems to be the last one to know.
