Anybody seen the Times this morning? It alleged some senior players went to see LVG to express concerns about his training methods and rigidity. They want more freedom to express themselves. It appears he did not take the feedback well. If true, very interesting.

Carrick and Rooney apparently were the ones due to them having captaincy and vice-captaincy. Apparently they were ignored.
The general consensus is that they players want to play more attacking, expansive football and LVG won't let them. They are also displeased at how Rafael was treated and the treatment of the Spanish players in the team.
If this unrest and falling out goes on for long I can see him gone by next summer. I hope he is while Pep and Klopp should be available.

It was only a matter of time before players voiced there opinions, I hope LVG and his stubborness doesn't make it personal against them.

I don't think this is true. If it is don't expect Rooney or Carrick to start on saturday. LVG dropped Rivaldo just for asking to play in a more central role, so I can't imagine holding too much sentiment for Rooney or Carrick. Having said that though I think its just tabloid nonsense trying to stir thing up. I doubt the players would question his tactics, he is the manager and its not as if we are struggling massively, the play can be dull, but I think it will improve, fans and players alike need to have patience.

There is a way of speaking to the manager and I'm sure if there were any concerns it would be done between the captain/vice captain with LVG and not leaked to the media.
If there were some discussions that somehow got out then the media are dramatising as usual just to sell papers. A whiff of anything and most of the rags jump on it.
We all know LVG doesn't take too kindly to players going above their stations. Maybe the Eds can shed some light on it if there is anything at all?

Hang on, it was in a paper, therefore it's true? Can I just ask every single person on here how reading the papers over the transfer window worked out? They know f all! Pinch of salt I'd say with this story too, probably 1% truth, 99% horse shizzle.

Senior players talking to the manager! Whatever next.
Surely this is a good thing, the manager talking with senior players about training, etc.
Just the newspapers trying to turn it into a scandal.
