I feel somewhat buoyed that the more respectable outlets are reporting Ramos wanting to leave Madrid. Could any of the Eds tell us if we have made any progress or still at the same waypoint on price to be paid?
{Ed001's Note - if Man Utd make a ridiculous offer, Madrid will sell, but the stories in the paper are all from his brother stirring things up. You just can't tell anything from those, after all his mother said exactly the opposite when she was asked. Right now there is no deal, though contract negotiations are also not done, so nothing is certain. I wouldn't want to put money on it either way, as Ramos could so easily end up burning all his bridges at the club the way it is going.}

{Ed001's Note - you are welcome mate. It is like the Raheem Sterling situation in the beginning, if his brother, who is his agent, keeps pushing, then they will end up with a similar toxic player. So far he is staying the right side of being able to fix it, if Madrid offer an acceptable amount and is not publicly making any pronouncements so they can still backtrack. That is why the stories are coming out from 'sources' so Ramos can still distance himself from them if he ends up staying. There is absolutely no definite step towards him going or staying being taken at the moment, which makes it a horrible situation to judge. The only things for certain are that Man Utd have asked to negotiate a deal but the club are trying to sort out a new contract. Oh and Man City are looking on in the hope of swooping in.}

Is say that he won't make any public announcement to toxic his relationship with the fans because if Real refuse to sell him then he would not be popular.
