Hi ed002. Is there any further updates on de gea signing a new contract. Do you expect that he will sign or move?
{Ed002's Note - I don’t know if there are any updates, but his good option has gone so he will likely stay.}

Thanks ed002
Whats your opinion on the future football appointments facing united this summer.
Dof / tech director and obviously the manager position?
Secondly
Do you think both roles will be filled this summer.
{Ed002's Note - Manager certainly.}

Krn if we appoint a DoF by the end of the season I will change my avatar to "I love Pep" for the whole of the summer transfer window.

Hi Ed I apologise if this has been covered by who are the ‘front runners’? Would you say it’s between Poch and ole? Thanks.
{Ed002's Note - I don't think it is a race, Solskjaer will get the job as long as the club doesn't implode and compensation can be agreed. It could be a serious mistake given others who may be available, perhaps including Allegri?}

Hey Ed. What's the hold up with the DoF position? Can we not attract the right calibre of candidate? As a club are we seen as a bit of an unorganised mess, or is it Woodward taking his tim because he doesn't want to relinquish control of certain aspects of the club?
{Ed002's Note - Woodward is.}

Its Woodward. What was it Ed002 said the other day, the dictatorship of Woodward.

Thank you for the reply Ed. I find myself flip flopping between whether I want ole or not on a daily basis. I do have concerns whether he can get us competing with the best. I want to see us dominate the ball more against bigger sides instead of relying on the counter. I suppose this may improve with better players purchased. He’s done very well though. I think I’m still leaning towards Pochettino though. Spurs have an identity to their game.
Interesting you mention allegri. Always been a fan and he’s a fantastic manager but it seems Juve fans see him as pragmatic. I fear his style wouldn’t be appreciated with united fans. His time seems to be up at Juve with both him and Juve needing a fresh start somewhere else. Ed do you think he would be interested after being snubbed the first time around? Thanks again.
{Ed002's Note - He arrived at a time when the club had a series of "softer" games coming up and that was a good idea - it gave a bounce and allowed folks to get used to him withiut any grief. Allegri had been the 2017-2022 plan for Manchester United and something has happened that means he may well be available this summer but the interest is from elsewhere. I very much expect Solskjaer will be offered the job, certainly if the club can get a Champions League place.}

That's the answer I feared the most. A glazer stooge that's intertwined in every aspect of the club. I remember you mentioning Ed that Carrington looked like a cheap ikea showroom. I've read that old Trafford is drastically in need of a lick of paint too. I wonder what it would be like to have owners that care about the club's interests?
{Ed002's Note - The owners do not run the club on a day-by-day basis and certainly do not give out painting contracts.}

Great response thanks very much ed.

Maybe there's some more sponsorship opportunities there. Dulux official paint sponsor and Ikea official sponsor of cheap hard to fit together tat.

Yeah but they have their pet Woodward in charge of everything. Can we enter the Johnstons paint trophy then?
