I find it extraordinary that a business the size of hours have not been able to make the appointment of DoF for so long. It seems to have been a couple of seasons now.
Can you shed any light on what the the delay in making the appointment is?
Or when the club decided that they wanted to definitely decided to make the appointment?
I undersatand that getting the right person is vital but surely it can't take years its seems to be dithering at best from the outside looking in.

It must be remembered that there are fewer high end Directors of Football/Technical Directors than there are high end clubs and other sides are also actively trying to fill a similar role. and there needs to be a good fit between the individual and the club. If you are not worried about it being the right person or not it would be a lot easier. The club made the decision in 2016.}

At least the club are not panicking and rushing the decision on something that can have a very good impact on the club.

It would seem that Michael Edwards has taken on that role for us Ed002; how would you say he has done since taking over from Ian Ayre?
