Personally, if we can bring in a CB and LB today I'd be delighted. I think we have the personnel to play down the RW/ forward position. Alexis can use both feet, Rashford was a winger, and Martial can beat a man too. Nothing to lose by giving that a go but strengthening where it is desperately required at full back.

Sanchez rashford and martial all can/ want to play up top, from an outside I think you guys are fine there. (I think lukaku is not the perfect solution for you guys but that's a different debate) Personally I think you lack the players for out wide and spread the game to give space for lukaku. The players (Sanchez rashford and martial) are capable but seem intent on wanting to drift centrally.

I think lukaku did a good job for us last year and if we can supply him with some decent service, he will be even better this year. By all reports he works very hard to improve his game and after watching belgium's last minute winner vs Japan, proves he is not the dumb battering ram some people may think he is.

If we play a 3-5-2, would a right winger be required, I'm sure that wing back position would get the best out of Valencia, with Dalot able to cover. Just hoping that if this is the formation we play, there's a rotation with Rashford and Martial getting time to adjust to playing up top.
